SUP California - Stand Up Paddle Board Store & Rentals

I love renting paddle boards from here! I have about 3-4x now and it's always an easy seamless process. You reserve your time and pay online. Picking up is easy, once you get there and check in, they help load all of your gear and show you how to secure your boards on the car and send you off! Jaime, the owner has helped me each time and she's so pleasant! Can't wait until I can get on the water again! I should probably buy my own board at this point...you can get one there too! Oh, did I mention, access to the water is less than 10 min away with many options to get to.

Quick, easy, friendly! We had such a smooth experience with SUP California over the weekend. They were busy, but attentive - we were in and out with the boards loaded to the top of our car in 5 minutes or less. Incredible business and I could not recommend any more highly!

I rented a sap here. This was my first experience. In just 10 minutes they explained everything to me and told me how to use it. Included with the SUP, I was given a vest, an oar, a manual and an electric pump. The electric pump inflated the SUP in a few minutes! The guys in the store are very nice! Loved the simple transaction and quick pick up and go! Recommend you!

This was our first time renting a paddleboard other than at the SAC state Aquatic Center. We wanted the flexibility if paddleboarding elsewhere and SUP California offered good prices, great help from their employees (worked with a wonderful young lady), and easy transportation. We arrived a little early for our reservation and were quickly tended to. She went over the briefly basics (as we already knew how to paddleboard) and then helped us load the paddleboard onto our car using foam and straps since we didn't have a rack. We went down the street (super close!) to the Willow Creek entrance and had a blast. We will be back to rent!

My first communication was through the "contact us" link on their website. I received responses in a very timely manner. My niece and I arrived without reservations, we were immediately taken care of. It was all so easy. Two boards and gear were rented and strapped to our car in about ten minutes time. When we returned the boards, they popped right out to retrieve the boards. They let me change into street clothes in their bathroom. I highly recommend SUP California for their friendliness and customer care. They also have a great swag selection in lots of cool colours with a very smart logo. The prices for the rentals and swag were very reasonable too. It was an epic day of paddleboarding on Lake Natoma too.

We rented some sup's for a lake day last week and this place was SO GREAT to work with. We had a last minute cancellation from someone in our group and a big delay in the morning that we weren't planning on, and SUP California was so patient and graceful with our changing plans. We even called from the lake to extend our rental time because we were having so much fun. We didn't mean to be such a handful but we were so grateful that they were so accommodating.The boards fit easily on the roof of my sedan and all the staff was so helpful and friendly. We had a great experience and a wonderful day. Would rent again!

Support your local SUP shop! Jaime is an expert and has a talent for matching you with the perfect paddle board. We're new to SUPping and had only rented boards until this summer. We did our research and visited Jaime's shop where we were greeted warmly. The store is deceptively on the small side from the street but it is laid out efficiently with a variety of quality hard boards, iSUPs, and even kayaks out back. All the supplies you'd ever need is in her store AND she only carries quality products - from carbon fiber paddles, PFDs, leashes, wet bags, waterproof phone cases that float, etc. Quite impressive.She taught us how to attach the fins, how to properly carry our new SUPs, then she even helped us load our newly purchased boards on the back of our pickup truck, teaching us how to securely fasten it, etc. IMHO, she went over and beyond, and we appreciate all her expertise, her professionalism and warmth.Last but not least, Jaime and her team are also quite active and engaged in Folsom, leading a friendly and chill community paddle Wednesdays after work. So fun!

It was super easy to reserve and it only took minutes to pick up. Here is where I have a problem: we got there about 10 minutes early and two customers were ahead of us. They just wanted to purchase a paddle board. The man opened the doors and before letting the ladies speak they asked us who was here for rentals, asked if they could help us first. The customers asked if they could at still come in, it was as if they weren't even acknowledged. I could see the ladies felt inconsequential. They ended up leaving. We enjoyed our four hours and came back. My fiancé returned the boards, bringing them all the way in and the same person acted as if we put him out. Very rude. I don't think it's normal service for them. Maybe an off day?

Been here a few times and the people working are always super helpful and nice. Decent prices for the rentals and not too far from river spots.
