SUNSET NURSERY

This nursery has a good selection and it's so much cheaper than the big box stores/chain nurseries. Everything I purchased here has been thriving in my yard (planted in pots). Will definitely be back for more.

Terrible. Everything there dies. Nothing properly watered. Replacing everything I bought there last fall as either dead or not growing properly. Never had any problems with other plants bought elsewhere

Great price on a lot of what they have. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Great selection of trees and flowers.

Cisco was a great help today! Choosing some plant material for our backyard project. Very knowledgeable with which plants are good in the afternoon sun and how big the plants will grow to. Very much appreciate his expertise. Thank you - will come again!

This is the best nursery in the area. They have a great selection of "healthy" (some nurseries dont even water) plants and trees. If they dont have what you want, he can get it and very quickly. Like in 1 or 2 days quick. I havent found a place that beats his prices in the Stockton lodi galt area. I'm guessing his mark up is very low, anyways they are my go to nursery.

I was very unhappy with this nursery. I went to buy a citrus tree and they had only one of the kind I wanted and it did not look very healthy. They assured me it would be fine. I asked if there would be any issue if it didn't make it, would they refund me and they assured me they would. My gardener refused to plant it saying it would not survive. I tried to return the tree and the guy working there said that I would need to talk with the owner. I asked when the owner would be there and he said, "oh, he comes and he goes." I was able to contact the owner via text and he said that I would be refunded. I had to go back the next day to return the tree and another employee working there pulled the money out of his pocket and gave it to me although I said that the owner said I would be refunded (to my credit card) Apparently the owner did indeed refund the money even though I was not aware at the time that he had actually done that. He called me the next day irate that I had taken advantage. I was furious and insulted. I felt that in no uncertain terms that I was the one taken advantage of. I had at this point made three trips of 10 miles each way to his poorly run establishment. So, I wrote a check and dropped it in the mail and then texted him that I had sent a check. He wrote back that he didn't accept checks. I told him it was too bad since it was already in the mail.I will never again return to this nursery.

Really good nursery. Good selection of plants trees. this is one of the best places for my company to pick up plant materials for my custom residential landscaping needs.

The customer service is exceptional. Even in the heat they don't make you feel rushed. They take the time to educate you, casual and honest. The prices are very fair and reasonable.

Our team was working on a project that required specific bare root trees. For a number of reasons, what we were looking for was in short supply at numerous nurseries and stores. Sixto was able to order, and bring in, the very specific trees that we needed; making our orchard possible this year. Beautiful trees - really healthy, and he had great recommendations for their care; also, there wasn't another nursery that beat his prices. We really appreciated his help in making our project successful, we'll definitely return for additional trees and plants, in the future.

After a few years I decided to post a message that Sixto charged my credit card to do my job and said he would reimburse me. Not. Plants were not as promised. $16,000 paid. But a rental bill was not reimbursed. No follow through. Maybe you will get a better deal than me::: Will not do this again with Sunset Nursery.
