Sunsational Swim School - Home Swim Lessons

We had a great experience with Remi! She was flexible with scheduling and so patient with our nervous toddler.

We cannot say enough great things about Mitchell. From the moment he arrived his engagement with our sons was amazing. He was polite, friendly, and so patient. Our sons bonded with him immediately and the amount of improvement we saw in both our sons within a couple sessions was huge. Thank you to Mitchell for being a great swim coach. And as a company, Sunsational is very customer focused. We did not feel we had a great experience with the initial coach paired with us as one of our sons has autism and she wasn't a good fit. When I reached out to Sunsational they took our concern seriously and quickly found us a replacement which was Mitchell. We felt heard and would definitely recommend this school to friends and family.

Leah, our Sunsational swim instructor, has more than exceeded our expectations. She has kept in excellent communication with us since she was paired with us as a swim instructor. She has been accommodating with scheduling and professional in all her dealings. Even better than all this has been the competence and ability she has shown with her teaching techniques. She has been very capable in instructing our four year old and we have seen our daughter's ability to swim improve so vastly in such a brief time we decided to add on even more lessons than originally planned. Our daughter looks forward excitedly to each lesson and we feel so much more confident in her ability to swim. Knowing she has the confidence and skills needed to keep herself safe in and around water is priceless and we have nothing but praise to offer to Leah for her help in assuring this for our daughter.

Leslie was excellent. Very accommodating to our schedule and great with shifting times to work round kid issues. Saw great progress with my 7 and 9 year old and got my wife to float and swim a bit despite childhood trauma surrounding swimming.

I have been trying to teach my son to swim independently for 3 years unsuccessfully. His swim instructor, Dolores taught my son how to swim for the first time ever!! My son loves the water and it's been such a struggle as he was never able to swim without a float or a life vest. Now my son can swim above and under water with so much confidence! He can even to a few tricks!! When he gets tired he learned how to roll over and float on his back and take a break. We had two lessons a week for 12 lessons and my son would count the days until he could be back in the water again with Dolores. She was so patient with my son who is on the spectrum and this was a huge concern of mine. Dolores was very kind and encouraging and never made my son feel defeated. I never thought I would ever see the day where my son could swim so freely on his own!! Worth every single penny and I would definitely recommend this school and instructor again and again. After trying several other swim classes with no success, we finally found a great option with Sunsational! We love Ashley!! She has been so patient and creative and after 2 weeks we're already seeing so much progress!!!! So happy to have Ashley work with our kids!

We loved Angel! She was very professional, prompt, and taught our 4YO ASD kiddo how to swim! She worked at his pace, kept a neutral tone, and by the end of our 4 weeks, was able to get him to swim with his head underwater. For context, he started out not liking any water on his head and wearing a life jacket; by the end of sessions, he was swimming the short distance of our in-ground pool by himself with goggles and his head underwater. Just amazing. The lessons are a little on the pricey side but worth the price for convenience and 1:1 instruction at home (especially if you have a kiddo like ours who gets distracted easily).

We were very happy with our experience with Sunsational Swim School! Our coach, Ashley, was a very knowledgeable instructor and really cared about our child's development as a swimmer. She made learning to swim a positive experience!

Egypt is a wonderful teacher. Our granddaughters are learning so much. She is so professional and knowledgeable on how to make them comfortable in the water. Our big concern was safety in the water. Egypt had them climbing out of the pool with ease. It so great having our granddaughters wanting to show us everything they learned from Egypt

I highly recommend Dolores and Sunsational Swim School's at-home lessons. My child is neurodivergent, and has made more progress in a few weeks with Dolores than 2 whole summers at community pool lessons! Dolores is professional, knowledgeable, good with kids (ex: my son started crying and she immediately distracted him and diffused his fears) , AND can meet your child where they are at while gaining meaningful progress.In my son's case, it has been less than 4 weeks and he's already swimming the length of the pool with a board, learning to dive properly, and able to reach the bottom of the deep end to briefly sit. Also he is learning to kick properly, use his arms, and of course, breath out through his nose for swimming & going underwater. I am so impressed, I am signing my toddler up as well!
