Basketball court, dog park
Soccer field
Not too wide so careful to throw your pooch's ball straight. Otherwise you'll be hopping the fence to get it.
Front of large dog area.
Back of large dog area.

My son's soccer team holds their practice at this park and it is a nice location. It has a play ground, spacious play fields, basketball courts, and a dog park. 5 stars because I've NEVER come accross dog poop outside of the dog park area!

A hidden gem in West Sacramento! The only other dog park that I knew of in West Sacramento is Sam Combs Park off Jefferson and Stone Blvd, but am glad to find another one in the West SIDE! Brought my whiny little dog here last week because I felt bad that he be stuck in the house all day while I'm at work. Also, his big butt can use some exercise. There are two separate fenced off area for dogs. One larger one and one significantly smaller one for tiny dogs. My dog is super territorial, so he had a field day here. He didn't even want to run. All he did was sniff around the whole area and marked his territory all over. Bags are provided for dog parents to pick up their pet's business. Also, there are water fountains specifically for the dogs. Besides the fenced off areas for dogs, there is also a large soccer field, a play area for kids, and a full court basketball court. For so many amenities, there was surprisingly no one there given the gorgeous night on the day I came...but good, keep it that way so I can start practicing my And 1 moves (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LW48iyrMsLE) without anyone judging me!

Newly renovated, this park is officially open again and kinda awesome. Best day-time, weekend, and after-work dog park in WestSac. If you're looking for a park that'll have responsible dog owners and friendly dogs weekdays after 5pm, this is it.

Oh Em Gee! I'm starting to think that my life revolves around hooking my dog up with some butt-sniffing action!Well, just as one would do with a kid, and take them to all of the playgrounds in the area, we are also hitting up all of the doggie parks - near and far. We want to make sure our rabid pit bull is well-socialized and won't maul other dogs or people (I kid, I kid). Summerfield has to be our doggie's second favorite spot to romp around with other canines. This is a pretty nice, well-maintained spot, complete with doggie bags in every turd-station. Damn! West Sac is really steppin it up, and has the funding to supply poop-bags. There's lots of green grass-like ground cover. NO mud puddles. A nice handy dandy, self-draining water spigot, and one more water faucet, and a few random balls waiting for your fido to fetch. You'll find lots of pretty-nice, well-behaved owners accompanying their owners...Our boy has found a nice new bish that keeps him in line, and happy. This spot is fairly small, width-wise, but long... so it's very nice for dogs that like to run back and forth, and up n' down, while their parents hang out on the one available bench. So, it's a really great place for the inactive, non-participatory owner, as one can keep an eye on poochie from any location. There's also a "small-dog" section, for those aggressive snippy dogs that keep trying to toy with our bully (those little guys are mean!). Review for Go Fetch to follow, later. No, really. True story.

Usually not crowded at all, and plenty of room for my little dog to run....if she's in the big dog area. The little dog area is way too small. However, they have trees planted with berries that fall and I *hope* that these aren't poisonous to dogs. That was concerning. NOTE: The dog park isn't where it says it is on map. Keep going on Linden and it's on the right, closer to Diane Dr. You'll see basketball courts and a huge open field. Parking is easy.

This park is fairly close to my house. It's slightly larger than the two soccer fields it can accommodate and very open, but this review is more about the dog area. The dog run is quite long, a little longer than the width of said soccer field, and the fencing looks new and sturdy. A couple of trees provides a nice amount of shade, and the grass is well maintained. By the way, this is for the large dog area. The separate small dog area is frankly, very tiny compared to the expanse of the large dog area. The ground is patchy grass, and the fencing looks weak.I noticed a bag dispenser, but since I carry my own, I didn't notice if they were Parks and Rec provided or just other owners leaving spare bags. No water dispenser on either side.Large dog area is great for whatever size dog you have, as long as they are ok with other dogs or if you go "off peak" hours. Seems to be a hidden gem, and I don't see too many people here whenever I go.5 stars for a nice dog area, minus 1 for tilt for the sad state of the small dog area. This is the main dog park that I go to for convenience and cleanliness.

welcome to your neighborhood dog park. my home is close by, so i visit here often. good amount of dogs show up in the early evenings and weekend mornings. its more narrow then wide. sufficient space for the dogs to go free and run. i wouldn't say that this is a dog park you would go to if you didn't live near by. people are pretty friendly. its next to big open green space where soccer games and cricket rules. its a legit park.

I took the dog here to check out this park earlier today. It was a nice grassy park with a good dog water fountain. It is pretty long park, but very narrow. The only thing was there were no tennis balls just sitting around to throw for the dog, so next time I will definitely bring some! There is also some small trees and a picnic table with benches.
