Str8 Out Da Box

This review is based off of my food ordered through UBER. Everything was fire. I mean if I could complain about one thing is the chicken was slightly bland.. could've used for seasoning, but the cook and crisp of that skin, on point. I got the surf & turf combo (4 butterfly shrimp and 6 chicken wings) comes with 2 sides but I opted for 3.. I was being a fatgirl last night. So I got mac & cheese, baked beans and potato salad. It also comes with a bun. Shrimp - I think it was dipped in cornbread before frying and let me tell you, A1! It was a lil salty, but nothing too serious. Chicken Wings - Cooked thoroughly, crispy, could've been seasoned a little more. Potato salad - perfection, love when it's slightly chunky and the pickles, mmmm.Mac & Cheese - fire, thick noodles, blend of cheeses, creamy.Baked Beans - unsure if it was ground beef or turkey, I wanna say turkey, but they were good, slightly too ketchup/tomatoey for my liking.I would definitely be back. It is pretty pricey, but the combo I ordered is more than enough for a couple (2 people). I wound up sharing my meal with my brother because that's how much food there was.

So I've had almost everything on this menu and been going since they opened, the food is hit or miss honestly but all the sides are super good so I usually just order Mac, yams , cabbage and bean and rice. The meats tend to be over cooked and fish rubbery.

I really came here looking for shrimp n grits or something smothered ... thinking southern cooking.. but ended up going with the 12 pc food was fresh an hot fries soggy ... but it's not wat I expected... there is a 15-20 min wait period Soo call in if u don't like waiting

Right when we walked in I felt a whatever type of vibe it was not inviting! Anyways I order there special chicken tinders, steak dish and some greens and let me just say it wasn't what I expected! Chicken tenders where not crispy came out kind of soggy like it wasn't cooked all the way and steak I asked for medium rare it was over cooked and the greens was not it! I can taste that it wasn't cleaned and cooked properly I wish I can say good things about this place but no it just wasn't it!

Food was salty very rude and very small portions will never stop here again, and I suggest you wouldn't either

Best fried chicken in the city...and it ain't close. The side I'm meh...about but every meal I've had here I was very pleased with.

I had the oxtails today an they were burnt an not to done . An customer service was not even good bad experience today .They normally be good but not today

cockroaches EVERYWHERE and its a long wait. fries are soggy AF. the employees attitude be rude asf. needs better service

Best Po boy I've ever tasted and I'm from New Orleans home of the po boys. Excellent food and service the Philly cheese steak is giving nice and tender. I definitely will be returning.... New favorite southern restaurant. Can't wait to try more. Definitely delicious and affordable.
