Stop The Presses Printing

A little pricey for copies but we all have to make a living somehow. The owner is very nice and held onto my copies until I picked them up the next day. The local library would've been cheaper but who is complaining.

My local "go to" printing company! Charlie, Terry and staff are friendly and accommodating, and meet or often exceed expectations! They meet tight deadlines, provide first quality products and are very reasonably priced!I use them regularly for 12" x 18" posters promoting my comedy shows and local events, in addition to other business related printing they have done for me. The customer service is TOP NOTCH! They once had an issue with their large format digital printer and the color was just slightly off... perfectly acceptable, but slightly off. The printer was fixed and Charlie reprinted all the posters correctly, but still have me the others that were totally useable! Manu companies would have destroyed them, but STP knew it wouldn't serve any purpose to do that, and it would allow me extra promo at no additional cost! They have a loyal customer for life in me!If you need local printing from posters to business cards, do yourself a favor and visit STOP THE PRESSES before going anywhere else!

I wish I could write a good review and give more stars, but the price is the issue here. The service I received was professional, prompt, and courteous - no issues on that end whatsoever. However I ended up paying $27 for 3 sets of 14 pages 11x17 and 3 sets of 8 pages letter-size, all black/white. This is MORE THAN THREE TIMES what I am paying my local print shop in San Jose, for the exact same print job, same page count. So my suggestion is for management to reevaluate their pricing scheme..

First and foremost, I want to say how much I believe in supporting small businesses but after my recent experiences with Stop the Presses Printing, i will be using Staples for my printing needs. I decided to try this business in getting some certificates printed for a very important event. The paper that the certificates where printed on was a disappointment. When I asked him about the fact that the certificate paper was like regular paper, he informed me that certificates where printed on this type of paper. I trusted that information. i ended up paying $26 for 12 certificates printed on regular paper. I decided to go to Staples and see what they offered for printing certificates. I was able to get card stock certificates printed for $17 for 12 certificates. When I called an questioned the cost of the certificates and the quality I was meet with hostility. I was told I would not be getting a refund and that if I took him to small claims court that i would lose. Had I been meet with compassion and a willingness to talk I would not be so unhappy. I will never use Stop the presses Printing again and I do not recommended this business.

I have never been in contact with such an unprofessional company. I called to get specs and details on an order I was working on for a customer. After I explained what was going on the man called his customers "IDIOTS" that they never proofread anything and that it always "falls on the printer." He then continued to insult me and scream and yell at me. He said I didn't know what I was doing and he had to photoshop my invitation (which We have hundreds and hundreds of phenomenal reviews and never have printing issues). It is a bit alarming that someone has the ability to photoshop another companies design but they don't have the ability to simply flip an image..? They didn't provide my customer with a sample which is a big NO NO! ANY REPUTABLE PRINT SHOP DOES A TEST RUN BEFORE A FULL RUN!! I would stay away from a place that calls their own customers idiots!!!! I am just appalled.

Teri has provided the best service ever! She not only helps with design but delivers and gives me affordable pricing. I recently needed my brochure updated and printed in a short time. Teri and her team delivered!

I have had business cards, flyers personal and business printing done here and ALWAYS am super happy with not only the product I get back but the customer service . Talk about a one stop shopping for your printing and marketing materials . Thank you for always taking care of my needs!

They were the only printing shop that was willing to print a large poster same day. Everyone else was unsure, had to ask a manager, excuses... I know where to go next time.

If you need a Pressman that KNOWS what he's doing, Charlie (Owner) will deliver. I was in a bind with a time crunch looming. Stopped at the big box office spots to print some custom invitations. After all efforts failed, Stop The Presses was recommended to me. I rushed to his location on El Dorado Street and he was able to get everything completed in a few minutes. The invitations looked perfect and my boss was very pleased. I definitely will be back. Thank you Charlie, you saved my hide.
