Stonum Vineyards and Winery

After an unpleasant experience at another local winery, we were so glad to have experienced the wine tasting at Stonum!Great vibes, customer service, and wine. We ended up buying a few bottles of their local selections. Will definitely be back again!

REPLYING TO Kathleen S - the owner. FIRST OFF! We did not get a conformation email after purchase of tickets, yes I did give the correct phone number. I think I know my own phone number. I had it for 2 decades. Someone on your end enter my phone number Wrong! We had a horrible experience with one of the owners, she's young and inherit her family's business and has no idea how to run it. We had bought tickets for the Luau. First off we got no confirmation of our purchase, nothing was not emailed to us, Secondly, they change the time of the luau just days before of the event, third, They wrote down my phone number wrong, so I got no call of the time change, it was supposed to be at 4pm but it got change to 3pm, so we were an hour late at no fault of our own. Owner was not apologetic, was not offer a extra complimentary glass of wine. She didn't feel bad once. No email to us of the time change, poor announcement of time change on their Instagram account. The sad thing we really like the vineyard and the wines and was going to become wine members. They need a professional management team that knows how to run a vineyard, like all the other vineyards in lodi and lockeford. No story OR post on thier Instagram of a Big Banner across the luau post saying in big letters and numbers, "EVENT NOW STARTS 3PM-6pm NOT 4pm-6PM. We won't be coming backThank you Jeremy's wine for being professional and kind.

I have been trying to get to this place for a long time and finally I was able to make time to get there. I had driven by many times and it seemed like an appointment only place but I guess now they have enough staffing to open up the hours and days of the week.First, their reputation has always been very good. They've had some recognition from some reputable wine sources so I had very high expectations for the wine. In, short, the wines were very good. They had a nice selection from rose to the more Lodi styled red wines. I really did enjoy all the wines and the price point seems fair. I guess I was kinda hoping to meet the winemaker, learn more about their vineyards and purpose for growing certain varietals. When you get wine with a story it makes the experience that much more enjoyable. I really like this place and I'm hoping to make a stronger connection with the business since I consider myself an advocate for Lodi wines since my hobby is to compare our wines with the best out in the other regions of CA. Pretty heavy competition but so far Lodi is more than able to compete with certain types of wines aka Zinfandel, Tempranillo, Syrah and occasionally Cabernet.

Place was beautiful went around 12:30 we were the first ones there Kathy Stonum greeted us with a smile and was very helpful and gave us detailedInformation about every wine and about the property!We came on a Friday for an early Mother's Day wine tasting 1st stop was here at stonum it was nice and quiet. We decided to do an outdoor tasting on the patio and because we were the only ones there without a reservation there was 6 of us I would suggest that with a party of our size usually you need a 24 hour reservations because as I tried on the website for the day of it would not let me. Kathy was kind enough to help me figure out why I couldn't do a reservation the day of. Price was $15 and comes with about 6 tastings with the service we got we would come back she also came to us to pour our tastings instead of having to come inside back and forth which was perfect for our party! This was kid friendly which was a + because we had to bring a few of our children. Kathy did suggest to go to LVVR for more sparkling which was actually our second stop and it's only 3 mins away

The winery is super cute & customer service is on point. The all wood barn tasting room was enjoyable. The wines tasted young & most wines were too dry for my taste. For those that enjoy a dry profile, definitely give this place a try.

Was in town and Stonum was located close to the home we were staying in. So luck of the draw, we went in for a tasting. We were the last party of the evening and the wines were fabulous. We ended up bringing home the jam, the Malbec and a bottle of the Chardonnay. The Chardonnay didn't make it home, we drank that the evening we came back to the house. I believe the owner and another young lady was in the tasting room with us, sharing facts and history of the winery, much appreciated. The atomosphere was beautiful, serene setting, easy parking. There is a gorgeous rental on the grounds you can rent as well.

Highly suggest this place! Came here for the first time in February and have been bringing everyone we know here. Every time we have visitors from out of town we come here. We enjoyed it so much that we became wine members. Benefits of wine club is getting the bottles at a discounted price. Every visit we get 4 complimentary tastings or glass of wine. They have 3 pick ups through out the year for wine club members. each pick up is at least 6 bottles.My favorite wines are the estate zin and the dessert wines. Unfortunately they make limited cases of each. When I wanted to stock up at the end of the year of the dessert wine they were sold out. During summer they have summer Wine downs. Where there is food Friday nights. Every time we come we're treated with great hospitality. The staff is always so friendly. Always nice seeing the cats, Wolfy and Dewey, around the place and just chilling. They're so big and fluffy!

My husband and I have visited 99% of the wineries in Lodi and don't know how we missed this gem! I know it's one of the newer tasting rooms but not so new that we shouldn't have already visited! Wonderful outside area to sit lounge while sipping on their delicious wine. We left with a few bottles in hand. It really was a nice experience and we will definitely visit again!

Beautiful quaint place for intimate small party.Owners were professional and informative with all the wines. Prices were reasonable

Great spot for wine tasting... Very friendly and great vibes. Loved the Rosé!! Service was great!
