I love this company, even though it's not their fault that the world gave up on manual typewriter correction tape. This place fixes my 1963 Hermes 3000 whenever it acts up. They're always so nice about it, too. It's probably because they don't see many typewriters anymore.I think they play on a softball team against other obsolete professionals, like those who earned their living doing punch-card computing.I'll never give up my Hermes!

Extremely professional. I went in today due to my Brother laser jet giving me problems. I informed the staff of the problem I was having and they immediately trouble shot it for me. Turned out to be a simple fix by resetting the error code. Hopefully I won't have any more issues with it but if I do I will definitely not hesitate to take it back there. Thank you

Stockton Typewriter is as service oriented as they come. I drop of my HP Laserjet printer and within the hour I had a quote and picked up the printer an hour later. Good old fashioned service, people that understand what it is these days is rare. I would give them 6 stars if it was an option.

I started going here because I heard they had great service and great prices on supplies for copiers and printers. The truth is, I would shop with these guys even if they were more expensive (which they are not) than Office Max, Staples etc. You can't beat the customer support they give and they are a family owned local business which I really like.

Don't let the name fool you, they also repair copiers and printers.In fact, when those idiots at Brother were giving me trouble, Stockton Typewriter set them straight! My drum unit expired a months after I bought it, long before the year warranty. All those Brother idiots would ask me was "Is it a genuine brother toner cartridge your using?" "Are you sure it says brother stamped across the top?" "You're not using the right toner cartridge." After a few hours of that, I brought it into Stockton typewriter and they got me a new drum unit in a day. They are honest and won't charge you the estimate fee if they think it will cost more then the printer is worth. Got to appreciate doing business the old fashioned way. They also stand behind their work and their remanufactured toner cartridges and drums are just as good as the brand names for 10% less or more. They also have several commercial business contracts and can handle the big as well as the little jobs. These guys deserve a Best of Yelp sticker on their door.Maybe I'll see if they have some old typewriter keys so I can make a steampunk keyboard.
