Stockton Loan & Jewelry has always been very fair with me and has always given me excellent customer service. They gave me a few short term loans to get me out of a bind when I needed it.If you cannot afford to pay back the whole loan when it is due, you can just pay the interest to get more time. I needed a couple of extra days after my loan was due to make my payment since it was right around Christmas. They could have defaulted me and kept my jewelry but I called to explain my situation and they agreed to give me an extra two days to come in. I was grateful for that.They also have lots of good tools for sale here as well as musical instruments, electronics, coins and, of course, fine jewelry.I highly recommend this business.

Not impressed with customer service or prices or quality of products. I know what you get when you come to places like this, but you gotta get a better read on your consumer before judging people and making assumptions.

This company is under new management and they seem nicer than the previous owners. When I'm back up north I will give them another try

Id like to re review this establishment. I later went back. Treated beyond nicely. They did contact me after misunderstanding showing they do care about customer svc & value opinions. I've pawned some jewelry there on 3 or 4 occassions when in need. Good news. Haven't been un need in long time thus I forgot about this post. Given fair cash & depending on how long debtor waits to retrieve their stuff determines the interest rate. $5 to $7 for a $50 or $75 loan for a week is fair in my opinion. Way better than check advance.Being in a customer Svc. Professional as a Local Tow Op. We pride ourselves on good communications & timely service. I should had updated review long ago. Sorry. I was upset that day. Just needed $50 quick while awaiting pay day. I should of went sooner than last minute.

This pawn shop buys stolen goods.. then when the rightful owner shows up they have no sympathy nor try to come up with a solution to get your property back!!! They're rude on the phone they're rude in person and have no empathy for any crime victim!! They could care less if your deceased parents stuff was stolen and sold to them!!! Please look at all the reviews there are more negative reviews then positive ones when dealing with this pawnshop!!Don't deal with These peopleSo * Ray servicemanager* if your reading this the least your could do is wait for the loan to expire on my stolen Rings then call me so I can come pay what your shop is out and allow me to get my Deceased mothers property back and my wedding ring... I do not write & post reviews often, but this time I feel it is my sworn duty to warn people about this scammer place who has the rudest most unprofessional, inept, aloof employees working there and a manager with absolutely no respect or regard for customers or there belongings. They prey on desperate individuals and lie about their intentions or what has happened to your stuff. I pawned 3 items including two Movado watches which were birthday gifts, as the due date approached I went in their to pay the interest and get an extension on just two of my items a flat tv & my watches. I assumed this was a competent reputable business so I did not check my tickets, but something told me to check my tickets later. When I checked my tickets later, I found out that they had not applied and paid the interest on my watches but another item I did not want and did not agree to pay the interest on. When I brought this to their attention I spoke with David who was rude, dismissive had no empathy and simply said "oh well your stuff is gone and tried to blame me for their mistake and shady practices. They don't have nice stuff and my watches were by far the best they had in their store so they scammed their way to keep my watches and sold it underhand. I called & called and was given the run around until this extremely rude person got in the phone and said your shit is gone and hung up. At that point I called the police and had the police go in there with me to try to get it resolved. The same prick that hung up was very disrespectful and rude and said to take them to court. That's is what I'm going to do along with reporting the business to the FTC and other business rating entities. PLEASE FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR STUFF STAY AWAY. They are unprofessional and uneducated they spelled the name of the items wrong on the ticket. Stay away don't do business here!! The owner is extremely unprofessional.

This wasn't my first time in this place and I shouldn't have even gone here but I stupidly did and accepted their offer. I brought in a diamond ring, wasn't aware of its worth and was ripped off. The thing that really sets me off is the guy who was checking it went over to his coworker, showed him the ring and testing device because it was beeping and then chuckled and said under his breath karet? I was stupid and accepted his offer when that ring was worth more than a grand come to find out. I feel ripped off and like they stole from me and I want my ring back ​

This place is a joke they are very unprofessional they judge you don't even take time to look at what you have they run off of assumptions my wife went in two days ago with a ring trying to pawn or sale it lady didn't even check yet along look said it wasn't real took it to a different pawn shop they tested it and long behold real I will post bad reviews everyday until people stop going and they shut it down very unprofessional this is not Beverly hills this is Stockton mrs pre modona slash Cracker Barrel.....

This is the best pond shop in Stockton they have the best customer service and the best deals u can save alott of money going to this place I personally have been going for years and have saved thousands of Dallors so I would highly recommend it to anyone trying to save mine but by the best jewelry at the same time

I literally heard the conversation between the man and one , I tried to sale for a certain price and the man said she can give me $100 less of the minimum I asked for . They lady have the audacity to over me $200 less then what he said. When I mention the conversation she lied straight to my face . Only for my boyfriend to go sell it for the the initial $500 I asked for ! This place tries to get over on you especially if you're a woman ! STAY AWAY
