Super beautiful! My daughter and I spent an easy 2 hours here and everything was magical.. I do have to say I feel it's a little over priced for the tickets.. I have gone to Sacramento and it has a lot more to offer.. this was just more magical to the eyes. Kind of amazing to know that all the delta students out this together!! Not sure if I'll come back next year or wait a while just because of the ticket price for the time consumed..

This was a fun event. My nephew & niece were thrilled as well as my Sis in law and Brother. I didn't handle the lights so well and had to leave due to motion sickness & the next day I woke up sick so... it's not the festival's fault. However if you are very sensitive to lights this isn't worth it. It was magical... & a lot of nice interactive areas. The show as we entered was entertaining. The prices were NOT! They make you pay more at the door than online! Parking was $15 which was expected but entry was $30 for adults and I think the kids were $27. They said it was weekend prices and a Holiday. I hope the folks working were getting holiday pay! For a family of 4 that's an extra $40 expense. Not cool . For that I take away 2 stars.

Bright, sparkly and interactive experience which is a must go event. We came here on a Monday and although it was a rainy night, we still did enjoy this place. We enjoyed the light displays and the calming music it accompanied the whole place. It's on a baseball field which is a big enough space to host this event. There are different area of displays that you can interact with and take pictures with. I love the dragons lair that has a huge disco ball inside and as you step on a lighted platform, this one will blow smoke and start to move towards you. There's also a bamboo forest which has a fence of steel percussions that you and your little ones can play music with. There's also a smoke machine that blows thick bubbles that when it pops smoke comes out of it. There's also some swings and teeter totters that you can get on and take lots of cute pictures with. The drizzle that day adds a little enchantment as we explore the place. We might be a little soaked, but we did enjoy this experience. It wasn't that crowded that night so we actually interact with each installments longer. There's also food, drinks (for both kids and adults) and snacks once you get hungry from walking. I like that we didn't have to drive hours to experience this kind of event with my family. We might be back again before this ends in January and enjoy this again in a much better and dry weather.

This place is great for all ages! It's a chill experience where you can go at your own pace. There's food, drinks, hot cocoa, snacks, performances, and vendors. There are interactive pieces, seats for photo ops with the sculptures, and seating throughout the park (which is great if you have little ones walking around lol). Would highly recommend. Tickets can be purchased online or at the park.Parking at the ballpark is $15.

What an absolute surprise and delight! I had been getting some "targeted ads" in my social media feed about the Stockton Lantern Festival and was, at first, a bit skeptical. After reading reviews, I decided to purchase tickets for the week after Christmas and check it out, as it's not too far of a drive over from East Contra Costa county. After Christmas, it wasn't super crowded on a Saturday night, but still a good turnout. Parking onsite is $15 which I felt was fair due to its safety and proximity to the event. If you're on the fence, just go. It's downright magical. The theme is an enchanted forest with all sorts of elaborate and large lanterns featuring mystical beasts, plants, trees and interactive light displays. It was a lot of fun, even as adults with no kids. I didn't partake in any food or drink but saw there are options. They also do an hourly Chinese acrobat show, which I missed. I was just too in awe of the wonderful lanterns. This event was very well done. Beautiful and unique displays which made say "wow, wow, wow" out loud several times. With the background music, it truly transports you to a magical place. Loved every second of my evening here. Highly recommend. It runs through January 14, 2024 so if you're in need of something to cheer you up, post holiday, this is a fun option!
