A customer of mine threw a big Christmas party here at the Stockton Ballroom. I sponsored part of the event and was able to mix and mingle with everyone.I didn't see anyone dressed like it was a gala event. By the name ballroom it conjures up images of gowns and tux's for me. This area is not the gala event type neighborhood. The entrance works really well for putting up check in tables on each side where everyone has room to get their name badges and then proceed in to the ballroom. Its really big in there. There was a ton of tables set up for everyone to eat or sit and talk amongst themselves. Around the room were the tables for sponsors to set up there goods and presentation materials. Also the give aways. This crowd loves a free little nick knack.A large stage is at the very end of the hall where the raffle items were set up and the company putting on the show was able to address the crowd. The food was shockingly good! Probably the main reason for my 4 stars. They cooked everything in house. I'm not sure if a restaurant came in and used the kitchen facility or if the Ballroom itself has a staff of chefs. Everything was served buffet style. I went with the Chicken that was in a light white sauce. I'm not sure what other meats were served. The veggies were perfect. Even my partner leaned over and said how much he loved the green beans. The night was very nice and they really knew how to throw a party. We had a great time and I believe everyone else did too.

The Khmu and Vietnamese New Years celebration are held here each year. The stage is not big enough for all the things we want to display and space for the performances, but the hall is pretty large.I also like how there's a kitchen and a whole other room.On the outside this place look abandoned but it's pretty clean on the inside.Sometimes this place get so packed because of the events, there are not enough parking.

Went to the NRA dinner last night. Very fun. Dinner was just okay. Some women dressed up thinking it was a 'BALLROOM'. You know? I know better. I'm from these here parts.

The Stockton Ballroom is one of our favorite halls to DJ at in the entire Stockton area. This building has tons of parking, a stage for the entertainment, spaces bathrooms and a bar for entertaining your 21+ guests with alcoholic beverages.

We come here yearly for the Bersaglieri Club's annual biroldi and rib feed. For $45 we get unlimited salad, pesto pasta, barbecued ribs and blood sausage (I haven't had the blood sausage, but I've heard its good). This facility is large with a nice bar area.

After looking at several halls for our wedding, we decided to book the Stockton Ballroom. This was a great choice! Goretti was awesome to work with. She was very accommodating to my schedule, as I live in Sacramento. You are able to set up the morning of and have the hall until 1am. You also have the option of setting up the night before for $50/hr as long as they don't have somebody else booked that night. One drawback is there is a mandatory $300 cleaning fee, which is included in your deposit. The good thing is when you're done, you're done. You don't have to clean up. However, I think I would have preferred to keep my $300 and clean myself. Nonetheless I am glad we chose the Stockton Ballroom for our wedding. It doesn't look like much on the outside, but the inside is very pretty. With the lighting set up by our DJ, it was absolutely beautiful.
