Stockton Ace Hardware

Asked for help in the Stihl area which is fenced off. While waiting a couple of other customers arrived. When help arrived it was a young Mexican fellow. He went straight to the waiting Mexican man. Problem is it wasn't his turn. No problem, went to another business that carried Stihl products. Spent 300 dollars and received excellent service.

For my kitchen remodel I purchased all my paint and some of my painting supplies here. I liked that the staff seemed more knowledgeable than what I experienced with Lowes staff...it once took me 30 minutes to get a sample at Lowes! WTH??? But at Ace I was able to find Benjamin Moore paint in all 3 colors I needed and it was mixed quickly and correctly. The paint itself was slightly pricey but I didn't have to run all over town trying to find what I wanted either.I wish they had a bigger selection of supplies (they don't carry multi packs of drop cloths) but I would definitely continue to come here to purchase my paint.

Five stars! Service and price! John was very helpful with the items I needed. Rather than pointing me to an aisle, he led me there and got out exactly what I needed. And Terry gave me a discount on cutting a 2"x4". Home Depot was closer, but you don't get that there. Which is why I'm always happy to drive further to an Ace.

I love when I walk into a business big or small and I am greeted with simple HELLO that makes a difference I am glad to spend my money at a business that appreciates people coming in to view their merchandise not to mention the customer service from the associate trying to get a big object in my car for my grandson kudos to your staff there I surely will return to this location!

I have used Ace numerous times for repairs and they have done a great job. Their in store service is excellent and someone is always available to help you find what you're looking for.

Just wanted to take some time to recognizing two outstanding people here at the Ace. First is Angie! ,she has alway gone out of her way to help me with som many of my plumbing questions. I need a screw, she knows right where to find it. Always upbeat and ready to help. Second: Jim in the screen shop. No matter what I give him he's got it finished the next day. Quality work! Screens or glass, he's got you covered,

Asked the manager for help finding something. Manager seemed annoyed. Said he would help me in a minute. Waited for 5 minutes. Then saw manager chatting with female employee. Went over by him. Completely ignored me like he forgot about me. Worst I have ever been treated at a business. Shocked they had so many stars on the ratings.

Had a patio screen replaced and the staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful and did a great job!

Third time using Ace Handyman and I'm a loyal customer. Billy added rails to my front porch steps. He came over one day, took measurements and gave me an estimate. A couple of weeks later he returned to install the rails and I couldn't be happier. Sturdy black rails, firmly bolted down, that will help my sister (who has an arthritic knee) make it up our steps safely and easily. Thank you, Billy!

Came here because it said online they had a product. Asked an associate to help me look. This associate took me down the same two isles a comical amount of times before he gave up and decided to start ringing people up at the register. Did not inform me that he gave up, just left me in the isle. A different associate looked up the item online and told me they were out without even checking the back. Absolute joke. More employees than customers and still can't get their stuff together
