We just had our 10 year old's bday here! Every thing was great, and the kids really got in to the project we picked (felt succulent gardens). Planning to come back soon for an adult night (or another private party with my girl friends!).

Such a great place for our daughter's 6th birthday. Pollyanna and Becky were so great with our party and so patient with the kids. We were able to use their courtyard while the kids were able to enjoy their art projects since it was such a nice day. I can't recommend Sticky Art Lab enough. Definitely the best venue we've used so far

Drove by here 1,000 times over the years..."We should check that place out!", we'd say...Finally had occasion to get exposed (took the leap and bid on a gift certificate at our son's school auction) AND THEN, icing on the cake, learned they do after school programming AND even do school pick up from Berkeley Unified elementary schools!! Now, our older son (3rd grade) comes here on Mondays after school and LOVES it. We all came here again today (on a Saturday) for SPOOKY Art Lab in anticipation of Halloween. Chatted with the owner and her husband, both super nice and welcoming. Feel like this place is a gem in the neighborhood!

The wood shop camp was a very disappointing experience for an older camper. The camp description indicated that the age range was 6-12 years old, but the projects were geared toward the anticipated ability of the youngest in the group. For example, during one day of camp (a 6.5 hour day), the project was pounding nails into a block of wood in the shape of their initials and sanding it.If you are considering this camp for a child older than 8, I would ask for more detail about what each day is like before signing up. From the online camp description, I had imagined alot more instruction and opportunities for discovering woodworking at all age levels and abilities. My camper described his day as waiting for all campers to arrive, an organized wood working activity, lunch, park, then free time. For $450 a week, I wish I had done my homework better.

Outstanding little studio! We had our son's birthday and everyone enjoyed the creative hour. The staff and owners are great and understand what it takes to have a great party. They helped with everything and even worked with a new theme my son wanted for his birthday art. Kids get to go back with a self made project with beaming smiles. We could not use the outdoors due to air quality that day in the bay but seems like it would be a lot of added fun.

Just did my daughter's birthday here and it was awesome. We actually had no idea what we were getting into since we've never been here before but I'm glad we trusted the reviews on yelp. Activities were prepped and started promptly at 2 and staff really make good use of time. Art projects were really cool and Pollyanna was sooo great with all the kids, engaging them in the two art projects that she had lined up. One was a large 2 by 5 feet canvas paint project ( see below) and another was a puppet paper mâché. Kids had a good time and adults got a little free time to talk. Pre party communication was efficient and during the party they were really accommodating with outside food, face painting and a pull string piñata. The venue has lots of tables and chairs. The outside area is spacious and a nice mix of sun and shade underneath two large redwoods. Only regret was not asking if we could do 3 hrs because 2 was a little tight. Really glad to spend our time here, it's a special place and the people running are so nice. We will be back for a Saturday open studio!

This is a place that nurtures development through creative expression. Sticky offers a variety of things to do for kids ranging from after school, camp days, open lab which is open to the parents and children for art making. My favorite activity is every third Saturday of the month, clay night!!! Which is only open to adults. But really if you are looking for a place to host a birthday party or event space, stocky is it. Look no further.

Reason for visit: Holiday Craft Sale & WorkshopsVisit date: December 13, 2014First time? I'm here a lot.Ok, so I'm just a little biased because I volunteer here, but doesn't the fact that I spend my free time here speak volumes on how cool I think this place is? Me thinks yes! Sticky Art Lab is a great art studio for all ages and for all levels of creativity. You can come here to create, be inspired, or to learn a new skill or two. I spent the entire day at Sticky during the annual Holiday Craft Sale & Workshop day. The front gallery was filled with handmade goods from local artists and the day was filled with craft demos and workshops. All of Sticky Art Lab's workshops and drop-in sessions are reasonably priced. ($25-35 for workshops, $10 for drop-in studio time). The drop-in fee includes use of all materials and tools in the studio! Plus, you don't have to worry about it getting messy! There are also big kid craft sessions throughout the month, you can hold birthday parties (or just because parties!) on the weekends, and there are even after school programs where owner Rachel will pick up your kid from the the bus stop and then spend an afternoon with them making and creating! There are two studio spaces, a front gallery, a pretty sweet patio in the back, and artist studio space availabilities. Parking is metered in the front Mon-Sat and free in the neighborhood.Hope to see you at Sticky sometime!

I booked the art studio for my daughter's 7th birthday and I was so pleased! Pollyana provided amazing service and was so easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. My daughter and her friends had so much fun making their projects, there were lots of materials and the instructors were great! The space for offers an outdoor patio with tables, chairs and a shade tent, we utilized the space to serve lunch and cake for everyone, it was the perfect amount of time for everyone to enjoy the party. Highly recommend it!
