Stewart & Jasper Orchards Company Store

If I could give more than five stars, I would, because Rayann at Stewart and Jasper was so incredibly helpful to me today. I created a gift package (over the phone, with Rayann's assistance) for a dear friend who lives in Patterson. I was late doing it given that New Year's Eve is tonight, and Rayann ended up having to track down my friend so that she could get the gift before the store closes early (long story, never mind!). Anyway, thank you for being so helpful!!! My last review of 2022 and it's a 5+ !!!

I was on my way to Chico CA, and I always wanted to stop here. Finally, I was able to make it. Place is very nice, ambience is great. The service was outstanding, even though we just did a quick stop because we travel with our dogs and dogs are not allowed. We got some goodies and wine to go. The garlic onion pistachios are amazingly good!

Like Olive Pit, Harris Ranch, and Bravo Farms, another grower with a store and eats along I-5. With a production facility and original store in nearby Newman, Stewart and Jasper Orchards has expanded with this retail space that includes a wine tasting bar. Additionally, they are affiliated with the next door restaurant Almond Wood (see https://www.yelp.com/biz/almond-wood-patterson).Selling nicely-priced almonds in an array of flavored coatings and dried fruits, I tried two varieties of seasoned almonds. The woody tasting and mushy textured Jake's maple almonds weren't right with straight bourbon but worked well with sugary cocktails. The S&J asiago cheese almonds with a processed taste like flavored potato chips fit best when eaten with nitrate-laden salami.Certainly better than a boring breather at a rest stop or gas station, the store is a solid visit when needing a driving break or staying at the Patterson Best Western.

I always enjoy popping in to places for wine tasting, but this is the first time I have stopped at this particular location for that specifically... Lupita was the one helping me out, and she was awesome. Super helpful and informative, and they have a great selection of wines! (Always nice to be able to pick up a couple of my Paso faves without making the 4+hr drive!) Also, if you have yet to try the apricot pepper sauce, that's a MUST over a block of cream cheese. :-D The dill almonds are also one of my mainstay purchases.

This is a cute little store in Patterson, right off of I-5. I've gone several times to buy little gifts for friends. They have an assortment of snacks. Different flavors of almonds, pretzels, jams, wines, oils, etc. My personal favorite is their butter pretzels. Can't. Stop. Eating. Those. Although I've never been to one, they also hold wine tastings. If you have time, you should stop by this cute store.

It's been years since I had wrote my review so I wanted to update and let you know I still think this place is GREAT! Since my last review they had added wine tasting events. Their schedule comes out a few months in advance and for your fee you get 4-5 tastes of the host winery and snacks. Galene, Becky and crew make these nights enjoyable. You also get a discount on any wine purchased from the host as well as entered into a drawing. We have had many a fun nights coming to the wine tasting events. If you can't catch the taste in Patterson, you can go over to the Modesto location on a different night. On a random note, BUY THE PRETZELS! They are addictive, buttery, delicious. And with the recent events I am ordering my goods online. I just ordered my favorite dried white peaches and apricot pepper jelly. Easy online ordering as well as fast shipping. Thankful I don't have to leave my house to have my favorite treats. Please add your pretzels online!!

The variety of amazing products, decent prices but most of all... the customer service was excellent. It made our pit stop memorable and we know we will stop again in the way home. Thank you

This is the place with the apricot wine advertised on Interstate 5. Tucked at the back of the stores just off the freeway at the Patterson Exit is the Stewart & Jasper Orchards Store selling various gourmet agricultural products from the area. Parking is limited and shared with other stores in the complex. The store is half nuts and sauces and half wine bar. You can sample the apricot and pomegranate wine or just order a glass of many traditional varieties. The apricot wine is unique with a sweet flavor. There are a wide variety of flavored almonds and other goodies inside the upscale country decor. Selection is a bit smaller than some of the farm stands along Interstate 5, but it is a nice stop if you are visiting Patterson for a meal. The wine options are rather interesting if you need to grab a bottle heading to a family holiday meal.

The selection of wine and snacks is great along with some cool customers. My only concern is a couple of the girls who serve are a bit snooty, which speaks volumes about their "character". We will not be returning...
