Coming from a 1 star experience at Vallejo Nissan I received the opposite treatment from Isaiah at Steve Hopkins in Fairfield CA. Isaiah was efficient, friendly, professional and attentive. I had no issues at Steve Hopkins. The environment was comfortable, clean and relatively quiet. The area is located in a clean and safe location of the city which was the opposite of Vallejo Nissan. I advised Isaiah that I greatly dislike car salesmen and the vehicle purchase/sale process, but this experience was easy and almost fun. He modestly stated that he hears that everyday. I highly recommend Isaiah as well as the KBB process at Steve Hopkins where I received MORE than the KBB offer. Thank you Isaiah

We had made a deal on price and made an appointment to purchase the car. So as we are driving up and about an hour away prior to our appointment we get a text that they sold our car and don't have another one in stock in the same trim. So we ask for a deal on a higher model and they refuse to make any concessions for their screw up. Even a few hundred to a thousand off out of good faith would have sealed a new deal. But they refused and we had no choice but to walk. And then a couple days later we get an offer for the higher model at a lower price, but it's too late. We ended up with a brand new Toyota instead. And I liked our initial sales guy and the sales guy from Acura next door. It was actually the Acura guy that sent us the new deal. But it was too little too late. I just can't, in good faith, recommend a dealer that agrees on a price and sets an appointment for a car, and then sells it. Come to find out they actually sold the car the day before and I wasn't told it was sold until an hour prior to our appointment the next day. And judging from other reviews the service department isn't very good either.

I bought my HRV at this dealership 2 years ago and have gotten great service there. However, I'm taking it in for a recall inspection tomorrow (which may take 4 hours) and was told that they do not have a free shuttle but can arrange Lyft for $10 each way. It should be FREE (within a certain mile radius), especially since I'm bringing it in for their recall issue but also because I've spent a ton of money there. Not a huge deal but disappointing.

Ugh. I loved and would only buy Honda's but my last experience made me never want to return. My 2018 Honda Odyssey decided to randomly go into limp mode and the dashboard set off a firework display of lights. I had all my children and husband in the car and couldn't go faster than 20 miles per hour on highway 12. I called and spoke to Martin. He said that he would have his guys check out the vehicle and diagnose the issue. I was leaving for a road trip the next day and anxiously waited for an answer. I was called about an hour later and informed that there was a switch stuck in the wrong position and it would be an easy fix. I was excited that things would be fixed and continued packing. The next day I got a call that the necessary part came in defective from the manufacturer and it would take until Tuesday to get the part. Without the part, I couldn't drive! I had to go to Sacramento airport to get a rental vehicle that would fit my family and I was livid. We asked them to contact my mom to pick up the vehicle since we would be out of town for a week. By Tuesday, I didn't hear anything, so I called 2 times to see what was happening. Martin was off, so I spoke to Josh. He immediately apologized and informed me that while the repairs were being done, my vehicle was dropped off the lift and damaged!! It would take another 3 days to get the vehicle not only repaired, but sent to a body shop. I couldn't believe it. He sent me photos of the damage and I asked that they cover the cost of my rental and gas since I was inconvenienced due to their error. They agreed and this is why they get one star. When the car was sent to the repair shop (Alioto's), they removed the wrong side of the vehicle because of some other damage (it didn't come in damaged!!!!). This meant another 3 days of work. My car has now been out of my possession for 12 days.Alioto's offered to bring the car to me, but mentioned that a part was still missing. When I came to the dealership, it was a huge piece missing and I refused to accept the vehicle. They had also promised that the car would be detailed, but it was messier than ever and looked ransacked. I just wanted to be rid of the vehicle at this point. When I did pick up the car, the lights all started flashing again. I was done and sold the vehicle to CarMax on the spot. Martin and Sheila get the other star because of their professionalism and diligence. But I would never do business here again. Stay far away.

My personal experiences here have been great so far. I used to get my car serviced at another location and switched to Steve Hopkins a few years back and don't regret it. The staff is friendly so I feel comfortable every time. They are upfront about services and don't try to pressure you into doing more, which is important to me. They've been realistic about the costs and offered their honest advice. Their online scheduling system is easy to use, service always goes smoothly, and I like that I receive updates about my car via text. I def recommend if you're looking to service your Honda

dennis is such a humiliation to this company i did a credit application on a saturday he told me he would get back to me never reached out so i had to go down there told me he was going to get key then came out saying unfortunately you wasnt approved text me 4/5 days later asking is there anything he can do! the car i had interest he sold ran my mothers i called he never answered told his staff that he was helping someone else keving answers says oh dennis isnt helping anyone right now basically lied to me called back in less than 10 mins telling me we were denied ive had much great experience with the 2021/22 staff the staff there are not very helpful glad to say i took my service else where and was treated with much more respect and help dennis is not up foward
