I had a major mechanical failure in my dear old family boat, and had a hard time even finding someone who would work on a boat 30 years old. Jacob and his dad Robert took on the job, however, and did marvelous work. Jacob diagnosed the problem, patiently explained it to me, and outlined my options, and costs, and helped me make a good choice about what to do. I feel he truly had my best interest at heart. They finished ahead of schedule and on budget, no bad surprises. Will definitely come here again.

This has been a great recommendation from a coworker and I am so glad that I am able to get in and get my boat serviced. Family owns a boat shop in another town and the information provided by Jacob has been top notch in comparison to previous recommendations. Only complaint at no fault of the business is the wait list to be seen. Pricing is comparable to most shops that have quoted the same work. Precessional and very knowledgeable for more than the basics. Thanks for keeping us afloat!

These guys are great. They fixed up my old Evinrude outboard and had it running smooth. Also, very nice guys to deal with, extremely friendly. Two things to know, they only take cash and check (no credit cards) and don't wait until the beginning of summer to drop your engine off for repair like I did. It seems like they have a busy shop, so wait time for repair was a little long.

Jacob over at Sterling Marine is a true professional, knowledgeable, and overall nice guy. He fit me in for an appointment to restore a vintage outboard that, after he saw it's condition, ended up not being worth the time and money it would take to restore. Jacob still gave me 45 minutes of his time to discuss my boat restoration project, giving tips on everything from types of paint to steering options. we went ahead and scheduled a future appointment for when I find a worthy motor for my project.

These guys are awesome! Not only did they fix my 1989 Mercury 2 stroke( it was in rough shape ). They also came out to my boat in the water because it was running funky. The issue was I had water in my gas( I'm an idiot )The fact they came all the way out to make sure I was happy is what any customer is looking for. I'm a customer and a Referal machine for them for life. Oh ya, very reasonably priced.Jacob and his pops are the best. Trust me

Sterling Marine Service does great work and they are fair. I took my Larson Boat to them for a few things and asked them to look it over for anything that was needed and they did so. They didn't try to do anything negative, they were honest and did a great job with the services that I needed. I have already recommended them to my friends and I will use them again. They are quick and their work is done well.

I have been taking my boat to Jacob and Robert at Sterling Marine for over 6 years now. Each time I have brought it in, I experience the same thing - high quality work at very reasonable prices and a high-level of professionalism. These guys know what they are doing, are as honest as the day is long and always go out of their way to make sure I understand what needs to be done and why and a lot of times they point things out that will need attention in the future but can wait to be fixed in order to keep things within in budget.When it was time for me to purchase a different boat, they took a lot of time explaining to me what I should look for in the next boat and what I should avoid. They are a wealth of knowledge. They obviously enjoy what they do and take a lot of pride in their work.Every experience I have had with them (usually multiple times a year) have been exceptional.I refer all of my family and friends to them and can't say enough good things about them.

Knowledgeable, pro, informative and precise. Making sure your boat performs is just as important as who works on it and I'm confident when on the water. I'd definitely use them again.
