Stenson's Engraving & Gifts

I was in a bind and needed an item engraved and I needed it done the next day. I tried quite a few places, but Stenson's came to my rescue! Not only did they get it done the next day, he had it done several hours earlier than promised, and they did a fantastic job. The pricing was very reasonable.I would highly recommend Stenson's Engraving and will be back again myself.

I am so disappointed in the quality of service I received from this business. I wish I can give negative stars. Back in December of 2024, I dropped off 2 gold baby bracelets to be engraved as Christmas gifts. I was told they would be ready by Christmas Eve; however, Upon pickup, The bracelets were horribly scratched, the gold was bent, and the lettering was outstandingly crooked on both bracelets. She didn't even clean her fingerprints from the jewelry. One of the fonts were so tiny that you're not even able to read the name. She told us she could have the jeweler polish the engraving from the bracelets and re-do the job at no charge, and they'll be ready in one week. We are now in February 2025, and she hasn't yet started on the re-engraving. I have received ZERO phone calls as follow ups and she continues to promise "they will be ready next week." When expressing my concern that it's almost MARCH and that I didn't expect for this to take several months to be completed, she had an attitude and failed to express any concern, empathy, or accountability, or an apology at the least. We just picked up the bracelets yesterday with no engraving. The jeweler has polished the gold down to almost nothing, and the bracelets are basically no good.

I have used Stensons many times thru the years, although i hadnt been there in a few years, they are the first ones that came to mind when i needed engraving done a few months ago. Our beautiful boy Charlie, who we had been fostering since July due to his terminal heart condition, had passed away, and we needed engraving done for his urn. It came out so beautifully, and she was so patient while we tried to figure out what we wanted. I couldnt be happier, thank you Stensons!!

I took a flat anodized aluminum panel in to get letters and lines laser etched by these folks. I called first to make sure they could handle something like this and they assured me they could. I left the panel there on a Friday and the owner was not in. So I asked the employee (who was nice, but knew nothing about the process) to have the owner, Shawna, phone me when she knew it would be done and how much the cost would be?Monday and Tuesday came with no call, so I phoned and got the message machine. I left a message for a call back. No call back. Wednesday I called again and Shawna answered the phone. I asked if she got my message and she said she had not. I asked if she knew when this would be done and she said she had a bunch of Yetties to do for another client and it would not be til Friday afternoon. I asked how much and she did not know yet, but said she would call me back. Thursday, still no call, so I phoned her and she gave me the price.Friday came and I got a call about 4:00pm that it was ready. They're over an hour away so I would not have time to get there (plus Friday traffic) so I informed them I would be there Tuesday. (Monday was the Memorial Day holiday)Tuesday I drive up to pickup the finished work and pay. When she showed it to me the lettering wasn't properly spaced and there were areas where there were marks that weren't in the graphic and text file I sent. Some of it was sand blasted while a couple of words were engraved. (See photos)None of it was laser etched. Shawna told me, when I picked it up, that they could not laser etch this type of aluminum panel with their laser. She says theirs only does wood and leather. This was my first time hearing this. She never stated this on the phone. And actually, the sand blast was not a bad option had the letter spacing been correct. She said that my file, I emailed her, was spaced that way. But I also brought a printed sample of the graphics and lettering. If it didn't match, I wish she would have reported that and we could work to correct it.So I expressed my displeasure with the outcome, paid her and left. While these seem like very nice people, they get an 'F' in communication and a 'D' in quality. If you need one or more of their stock items they sell, engraved, then I'll bet they're fine. If you need something like I did, I would look elsewhere...

I got my friend a Hydroflask for graduation. He is from Argentina. This looks SO AMAZING!!! The lines are absolutely perfect and everything about it is AMAZING!!!! I can't stop saying how great it looks. He is going to love it!!!!!

This is a trying time for all of us. I knew that there would be a delay, but for how long? I got a call from Shawna that my order was ready. I told her due to my age and medical history I couldn't leave the house. She said "No problem, can I drop it off at your house?'. She was there 20 minutes after closing the shop for the day! My order was exactly what I requested! Thanks Shawna and Stensons Engraving ! I've been doing business with them since 1990 and will continue to do so!!

I had to give 1 star to leave a review or I wouldn't have given it any. I would not waste my time or money on this business. I'm not sure if it's under new ownership or what has happened but they used to do really good work now they won't even return your calls or fix the bad work that they've done on your items. I'm out a lot of money on a special items that we were trying to get for relatives for Christmas. Any business that doesn't care or return calls doesn't deserve any of our business.

I work in Riverside, but I am stationed in Northern California and I forgot my name tag. It was easy to request a name tag at this place! I was able to list everything I needed and the design. When it was time to pick it up, the design and name tag came back exactly how I needed it to be. It was perfect! I highly recommend it!

I shopped around on a Tuesday for a one-off name badge that I needed by Friday evening, and Stenson's Engraving was the only place that could meet that tight schedule.Shawna was great to work with. And the name badge was ready by 4pm on Thursday, no rush order upcharge, and done perfectly. And the price was very competitive with internet services.I just put in another order for two more name badges, this time with magnetic backing instead of the pin backing of the first one. The price for the magnetic backing is a little more than for the pin backing, which I expected. I was quoted a completion date of one week. That's plenty soon for a non-rush order.I am a happy customer and will come back for my future needs.
