Starlight Studios School of Performing Arts

In Spring 2022, we enrolled our children in ballet classes. After a year of learning, they have progressed from knowing nothing to a level where they can represent the school in performances.Our initial intention was to teach our children perseverance and not easily giving up in the process of learning ballet. We wanted them to stand tall and not hunch when they're on their feet. Under the dedicated guidance of Mrs. Chris for over a year, their ballet skills have made significant improvements. They can confidently perform the learned dance steps in the recital which held every six months. As parents, this makes us incredibly proud.

We went to a free intro 1.5 hour dance class- and I was so impressed!! All the instructors were so nice and you could tell a lot of effort was put into it. We will definitely be signing up for classes here- super nice staff. They even had ballet shoes for my 3 year old to borrow when she saw other kids who had some and she flipped out because she wanted some. Very thoughtful of them. Super cute clean studio. We are very impressed!!

I am very disappointed. The start of the second year with this studio is more about the instructor pushing her religious agenda and less about dance. Instructor has had group discussions with the teens about homosexuality as well as abortion. She has gossiped to the teens and has been over all distracted from what her main job should be and that is to teach dance. Because she is a paid vendor by a public charter school, the instructor should have it clearly posted that she runs a Christian Studio. Customers have a right to know. There are many families that have the same beliefs as the owners and would welcome a studio like this but IMO there is no reason at all she should be discussing religion during a dance class. There is a definite line between church and state that has been crossed. On a positive note, I will say that Allison is great with the little ones. (under 7)

I will be going into my 5th year of dancing here in the fall, I've loved going here from day 1 and everyone here is like a second family to me everyone is so welcoming and I love seeing the younger ones learn and have fun as well, you can tell how much everyone loves the place just being there, I love dancing here and taking so many classes (if there was such thing as too much I'd probably hit it on the target) and how amazing and supportive the teachers are.

As good as it gets! We love this dance school. The teachers are AMAZING with the kids, the staff is always nice and accommodating. Their customer service is OUTSTANDING! Totally recommend this school because in our house we all LOVE STARLIGHT!

I've been dancing with Starlight Studios for a while. I absolutely love coming to class, Allison is one of the best teachers I know. She is always accommodating to her students and is always genuinely happy to be at work. I have never known a person to be so involved in what they do and actually have a genuine love for it. She makes sure to recognize all of her students improvements and pays special attention to those who need a little extra attention. All of the teachers are always great about working within the students needs and if they need help they stay after and help them. They have a great sence of balance between work and fun, if you're looking for a new studio hopefully this will be your first and last stop.

My daughter has been in this dance studio for the past three performances and I love seeing how much fun she has! The only concern I have is during the performances the instructors and older children are in with the younger children and constantly in the way. I came to see my daughter perform for the 2-3 minutes she is on stage not to watch some huge giant lady take the stage

Ms. Allison is wonderful. My daughter loves her studio. We are so happy that we found such a wonderful dance studio. Highly recommend them. Prices are fantastic and the costumes as well.

Wow, this studio has a phenomenal ballet instructor and ballet program for children and adults! Ms. Cris holds the highest standards while still being fun and relatable. Ballet is an incredible Adult exercise, but it's is all about technique, and Cris is a true professional. My first class was free, and now I'm hooked. This is an excellent adult and child dance studio in the Central Valley!

We've tried different studios. None are like starlight! The owners, coaches and staff are always so friendly! Prices are affordable, and the studio is very kid friendly and clean!
