Kindest sporting retailer. Carl and his wife supported my two sons throughout their high school sporting endeavors. They are both patient, accommodating, kind, and compassionate. I could not thank them enough as a sports mom. They created a Letterman jacket that is a to-die-for special for my senior. Their customer service and kindness are what keeps us going back! When people ask me where should we get our Letterman jacket? I say Star Sports because of the care they take to make the experience special for the athlete and the family. Thank you, Star Sports, for making high school sports even more special for my sons!

I am so glad we found this place, it will be my go-to for all of our baseball needs. They took the time to really work with us and to make sure we were getting the right items. My son got to test a bunch of different bats in the store until he found one that he was happy and comfortable with and that didn't break the bank. Amazing customer service and excellent prices. Losing Sports Chalet AND Sports Authority has really been a pain to the residents of Vacaville. I recently found myself needing a bat and metal spikes for my son asap. Went down to "Star Sports" in Benicia, as I had used them extensively years back for uniforms for my former travel baseball team. I contemplated driving in traffic to Dick's Sporting Goods, glad I didn't have to. I went in and was greeted by Carl, who totally took care of me. Not only did he give me a great deal, he saved me an hour and a half commute. Thanks "Star Sports", I'll be back!

Carl was awesome! My daughter was in need of a new softball bat and we were a bit overwhelmed by the choices out there. Carl spent a half an hour with us, working with my daughter, letting her test out different bets, sharing knowledge, showing her drills. Awesome service and experience. Icing on the cake was we bought a bat from here, that was less than what we could buy it for online. We will definitely be back.

Great local small sports baseball/softball shop. Okay variety, great friendly knowledgeable customer service. Shop could have more of a selection and variety in sizes. Overall good clean shop and great purchasing experience.
