Newday and their staff are an incredible school. Marla and Ashley are so caring, loyal and I can always feel they genuinely care about my daughter and their jobs. I almost switched her to another school when Lupe Cabrales worked there. The energy was bad and and I didn't want my daughter to be subject to that all day. Once Lupe left, she sent out horrible messages to myself and all of the other parents, which proved her awful character even more. Since then my daughter comes home happy everyday and the energy is great again. If you're looking for a preschool you can trust with your little ones, this is the best one in Stockton in my humble opinion.

My two youngest boys both attended NewDay and they absolutely love it. The teachers are very kind and have helped tremendously with my children's pre-K education. My 5 year olds penmanship and spelling is very advanced thanks to all of the help and one on one lessons he's been given at new day. One of my favorite things about the school would be the small class sizes, it ensures the students receive a more personal learning experience.

Great preschool! My daughter loves it and the staff is amazing! I went to this same preschool over 30 years ago and it was just at great back then. That's saying something

Two of our three kids attended Newday, and if it weren't for our recent move away from Stockton, all three would have been alums. We love Miss Becky and Miss Lori. And they love our kids. My kids remind us to pray before meals as they learned in school and that is worth so much. They always come home happy with beautiful projects. 2010's summer session was quite different from a few years ago, not as pleased with it this time, but my daughter still had fun.

Parents searching for a good preschool/day care in Stockton - NewDay is one of your better options in town. Our son attended since he was 2 years old and in his time there I can't recall a single bad experience. The teachers keep the kids on task during class time and have their agenda's posted for parents to see every week. The staff here are all excellent with the kids. It's nice that staff are available for early drop off and late pick up and the kids are kept busy with activities - not just running around the entire time ready to have a meltdown when you finally show up after your work day.The outside play area is large, well kept, and has a huge shade tree which makes all the difference during summer. There is some bible time each week, but the church aspect is not pushed on the kids toooo hard - in fact we're atheists but don't mind our kids having some exposure to religion... when they're old enough they can make their own decisions about it. I don't think their Mom or I have ever been asked about attending church there. I'm sure they're blissfully unaware of our atheist beliefs :)Pricing is *very* fair (better than many other options in town) although there are some mandatory "fund raisers" a couple times a year, but nothing extreme and it's always something for your money. We had our choice to go to another highly regarded school in Stockton, we liked what we saw at NewDay and decided to give it a shot. So glad we did. NewDay deserves much more praise here.

Newday is a wonderful preschool. Our daughter started attending when she was 2 years old.The staff there love the children and provide them with a safe and nurturing place to grow, learn and explore. Some of my favorites about the school are:* Miss Jen* Miss Becky* Miss Elizabeth* Miss Trini* Miss Pat* Miss Lori* Miss Antoinette* Bible/Chapel Time* Children may start preschool before they are fully potty trained* They make decisions based on the child's needs (not hard and fast rules)* They keep the facility locked at all times* The play yard is shady, fun, and difficult for outside people to see in* They promote a culture of giving, community, respect, learning and fun* They love our kids. They really do.

We love Newday! My children are so happy here. Ms. Marla (the director) goes above and beyond. She does a great job communicating with the parents and planning events/activities that the kids really enjoy and have fun with. This school is also very academic, my children have learned so much and both started out in the 2's class. All of the teachers are so sweet and kind. We highly recommend this preschool.

We love Newday Preschool! Our two children are safe, loved and learning. Ms. Marla and her staff welcome my children daily with open hearts. They have classes that start at 2 years old - Pre-K. They offer half day programs, full day programs, 5 days a week or T/Th or MWF. Whether or not you are looking for full time childcare or just want your child to have time with like aged peers, there is a schedule that fits your needs at a reasonable cost. My children have been in every class starting at 2 and I can say nothing but great things about the experiences, projects and goals they have achieved at Newday. I am fully confident that my four year old is throughly prepared for Kindergarten. She has continued to acquire skills throughout her time at Newday and most recently mastered writing her name independently, spelling her name independently, she can add and subtract simple equations and recognizes most letters in 3 short months thanks to Ms Ashley! It is a small private preschool and each child truly feels at home. Furthermore, Newday has been recommended through and through and really upholds it's outstanding reputation.

My daughter goes to this preschool, she loves it!! This is her last year here because she's going to kindergarten. She loves her teachers and I'm sure she'll miss them. The Director is really nice and approachable. I am glad that we were able to find a way to keep my daughter here, in this economy, because we believe preschool has taught her many great things.
