The front desk customer service must be improved. The actions of the two individuals there this past Monday seem to indicate they struggle to communicate effectively; using accusatory language and tones. The check in experience was so awful we gave up and went to another hotel. The manager was also unhelpful in the 30 seconds she graced us with her presence to address the situation. Will definitely be following up with specifics with their corp entity.

Horrible experience. Was like a twilight zone episode... as we checked in front desk told us about happy hour even pointed out the sign... we went down for happy hour at 5:30p on a Friday... and still closed. Front desk person said oh it's closed all weekend...I asked why the sign and she just took it down... then on second day we came back to room not cleaned... we had a sign in bathroom that said leave towels on floor to be changed... went to front desk and was told we don't clean rooms everyday just every other day??? No mention on website and no one ever said anything when we reserved or checked in. I would complain to management but obviously there is none. Oh and $10 to park your car? Money grab. Hotel Nextdoor shares parking and it's free...We visit the area often but will never return... you've been warned...

This is a brand new hotel opened in July 2021. So, it's modern, clean, and stylish. I'm so happy that the guest room is clean, spacious, and well appointed. I also love the location. The area is very quiet and seems safe. There are shopping centers at the highway (I-80) entrance/exit (0.5 mile from the hotel) where you can find In-N-Out, Starbucks, Panda Express, and other restaurants (if you are not picky). If you want more options, downtown West Sacramento is only about 5 minutes and down Sacramento only about 10 minutes. Parking is free, and there's a lot of it. Parking spaces are generous in size. There are even covered parking slots behind hotel. They also serve complimentary breakfast. We used to stay at the Marriott in Midtown Sacramento. It's a much older hotel, and parking costs $15 per night. So, I decided to reallocate the $15 and decided to stay in West Sacramento. I cannot be happier.************************************************************If you found my review helpful, please smash the "useful" button! The rooms, the entryway, the bar, the breakfast, and the staff all rated a five-star. Their downstairs is beautiful, the rooms are fresh and modern, the beds are comfortable, and the overall ambiance is soothing and bright. Their happy hour was reasonably priced ($5 beer, wine (nice selection), and well drinks). The location is also a major plus, right near I-5 and I-80. The one really aggravating and annoying thing about this particular SpringHill Suites is charging an additional $10 to park your car. We have not encountered this at other SpringHill Suites and felt this was a chintzy way of extracting extra profits for no extra benefits. If this were a limited parking area in a downtown region of a major city, I'd understand, but this is a huge parking area and they take no responsibility if anything should happen to your car while parking there. For this reason, while our stay was great, we will certainly look elsewhere the next time we are in the area.

There aren't a lot of good hotel options in this area and I chose this one since it is new. It is a decent option...it's functional. The gym is decent and the rooms were OK. The front desk lady when we checked in seemed a little "checked out". See what I did there...I amuse myself sometimes.

Security on the premises could be improved. Terrible idea that lights are controlled by your key.

The hotel was built in 2020, therefore still in very good shape. The people working there are nice and friendly. My only problem is with the breakfast, many of the Marriott hotels insist in only serving pork sausage. Many people are no longer eating pork due to different reasons, why they can't offer turkey sausage instead?

This is a 2 star hotel claiming to be a higher rated hotel. This place is low end. No valet, 1 tv in their "suites", appliances do not work, half the wall outlets do not have power. This hotel claims to have suites. They have large rooms and NO SUITES. Do not expect a suite when you stay here. Do not expect the staff to care about what you booked. All they care about is money. Do not stay here. One of the worst places to stay in the area. STOP POSTING FALSE ADVERTISING. ALL THE REMODELING IN THE WORLD CANNOT FIX TRASHY CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Okay, your run-of-the-mill Springhill Suites, which I love as a chain. Great room layout, everything I need for short work stay. Nice downstairs lobby bar where folks can hang out. Clean enough. Not a lot of eating options close by but we discovered some amazing Indian food in the gas station plaza across the way (seriously!).What makes this location special is the staff. The short younger lady at the desk (I didn't get your name, sorry!) was SUPER friendly, upbeat, and helpful. I returned later for another work meeting and she remembered me! I was stunned. She deserves a super raise and went above and beyond, sweetest thing ever.
