Spark by Hilton Modesto

This place was hidden by industrial buildings but it was nice and clean and the staff was nice sweet. Thank you to the gal that was preparing the breakfast she was very nice and friendly. Good coffee !! Great handicap room.

3 stars is about right for Spark by Hilton Modesto. Check in was easy and fast. Check out was easy just drop off room keys in box at lobby. The room was really stuffy and warm when first entering. The wall heater/fan did nothing to cool the room. There's was no shampoo/conditioner in bathroom and only 4 tissues in tissue box. The room itself was clean. I liked that check out was at noon. There's a Mexican restaurant in same parking lot and sandwhich spot nearby. Starbucks and Chevron blocks away. Free bagel breakfast with Yoplait yogurt, coffee, juices. For the price, it wasn't bad but not great. Self parking

I think recently remodeled. Very basic hotel part of Hilton chain. First time in the brand. If I just wanted to sleep and go this is probably the purpose. If you wanted to hang out There is a Hampton a little further north. Personally I want a little more otherwise this hotel will fill the bill.

Has anyone else experienced being charged for a damage and it was not damaged with what was on the receipt? I was charged for blood on the liner when it was a buzz ball and a small amount. Nothing that could damage the liner like the GM is claiming. When I asked for pictures she is refusing??

Don't stay here. It's a beat up Motel 6 under all the fresh paint. Night auditor is rude and probably got the attitude from Management. Whatever franchise owns this hotel should reconsider hiring new team. They are rude and unprofessional and will charge a 500+ deposit on a 80 dollar stay. Highway robbery..

A hidden gem off the 99 freeway. This property had been a rundown hotel. Hilton took a year and transformed it into a very low-key exterior, gorgeous interior hotel. It reopened 3 months ago and the gleaming interior definitely reflected that. Pricing was excellent. There is a Mexican restaurant in front of it & a Sandwich shop in the strip center on the other side of the driveway closest to Spark's entrance. Since I was having same day rotator cuff surgery, I wanted to stay near the hospital but not too close. It's 2.7 miles from the Sutter Memorial Medical Center. With a 7Am surgery check-in, it was a breeze taking Lyft there. I let the manager, Andrea know I was having surgery the next morning when I checked in. She made sure that all of the front desk staff were informed; and I had assistance as needed. I went down for breakfast @ 6 AM yesterday and asked Alondra if she could cut off my hospital I'd and help me get some breakfast. What a pleasant experience! She even rode up the elevator with me; and placed my items on the tv table so I could easily reach them. These extra things make a world of difference when you're unable to do things yourself. I want to mention that Marissol, Korra and Veronica as well. Even housekeeping assisted me with letting the front desk know when I was ready to check out. I was assisted by Andrea at both checking in and out of the hotel. I was unable to carry my backpack after surgery, so she went upstairs and brought it down when I was leaving. Check out this location in Modesto - you'll be glad you did. I'll definitely return.

I found two bugs on my stay one in the bathroom and one on my bed that I couldn't take a picture of cause it got away! It has pinchers and it was long!

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. They charge $250 deposit. There is only one ice machine and it's behind the front desk so you have to go down to the front desk and ask for ice every time. There is no microwave no coffee machine. The rooms and bathrooms are tiny. They offer free breakfast but it's not actually a breakfast. Its bagels yogurt and hard boiled eggsThe only good thing about this place is that the rooms look like they are not used. I'm sure that's due to all the things they are lacking.

I stayed at SPARK for 5 days and 4 nights for a business trip, before i got there i was a bit worried because some of the reviews on yelp and google, however as soon as i walked in to the lobby my perspective changed. The lobby was clean and very well maintained and had a really beautiful odor walking in. The rooms are clean and well maintained, the bathroom is a bit small but not inconvenient. The first day my shower was out of hot water but marissol quickly called maintenance and was able to get me a second room with no hassle. Breakfast is some bagels/ cupcakes and orange juice which is not fancy but also is a good option (especially the chocolate cupcakes).Seriously one of the best experiences I had with staying over for a business trip. Special thanks to Marissol!

Mariposa I believe was her name was so attentive and helpful during our stay. Rooms were clean as well.
