Sons Of Guam Island BBQ Catering

HAFA ADAI! Had sons of Guam cater our wedding and let me tell you, they did not disappoint!! They brought a piece of home to sac on our special day! Larry and the two gentlemen that assisted with the set up were so helpful and accommodating! Food was delicious! Recommend ALL of it would definitely cater with them again!

I was introduced to Sons of Guam (SOG) by one of my closest girlfriends as she has catered through them many times before. We hired SOG for a celebration of life this past weekend. We ordered lumpia Shanghai, pasta salad, linguisa fried rice, chicken pancit and fried chicken. I didn't care too much for the fried rice or pancit (it was just my personal preference, but many others from the event really enjoyed it), but I really enjoyed everything else. I loved the setup and it also included food labels, which was a really nice touch. The catering service also came with complimentary coffee and tea, which paired nicely with our nice array of Filipino desserts. I got to meet Larry and his wife and they were both really personable and friendly, we even had a nice conversation about having them cater a future event of mine. I'll definitely be reaching out when the time comes. Thanks again.

Not a very reliable catering service! Very disappointed that no one bothered to get back when asked what is the next step to proceed with the catering service? I have asked how much deposit to make? What is the deadline to make the payment? And no one ever replied. Very bad business transaction! I don't recommend this place at all!

We ordered a whole roasted pig for our engagement party and WOW WAS IT AMAZING! Larry was very communicative and responsive to my questions. He arrived day of with the most beautiful pig I've ever seen. It was absolutely delicious - the highlight of the party! 10/10 recommend

I can't rave enough about Sons of Guam--they're busy for a good reason! Having lechon, BBQ chicken, Hawaiian style salmon with rice, cucumber salad, and potato salad at our wedding was absolutely incredible. Seriously, the food was better than any other wedding meal I've ever had. It was a total treat for my half Filipino and half American guests.Not only was the food delicious, but the presentation was beautiful too and the service, 5 stars. Larry and his team really pulled it off--even with their busy schedule, they were super reliable. They answered all my questions, accommodated extra requests like coming in early and providing more staff, and just went above and beyond.And let's talk about the leftovers--we were thrilled to have so much tasty food to enjoy after the wedding. I highly recommend the roasted pig, BBQ chicken, and salmon with potato salad. It was all amazing. If you're looking for something uniquely delicious and beautifully presented for your wedding, you have to go with Sons of Guam! Thank you so much, Larry and team!

Sons of Guam provided food for my 50 th birthday party last night. The food was amazing. There was plenty of food for everyone and for seconds. The short ribs and chicken skewers were the best I have ever had. The quality of meat was very high end I thought. The skewers were full of meat and just the right amount of sauce. The paradise salad was excellent. Larry even provided some hand rolled lumpia! They were the best and when we have our next party, we will get those for sure. Larry was very easy to work with and very very kind. You can tell that he is passionate about sharing his culture through food, and he did not disappoint. We had several friends ask for his business card to book upcoming events. The presentation was beautiful and everything was very clean. I cannot say enough about how great their food and service was. I would say book early because he is very busy. Thank you Larry, it was an honor to have met you and enjoy the wonderful food you provided.

What can I say that hasn't already been said....Sons of Guam was the best decision I made for my 60th birthday party. I had a small gathering of 40 guest outside patio dinner. Larry was very patient as I made changes to the menu and guest list. He answered all my questions and put me to ease when the final day arrived. Two gentlemen came set up the buffet style with everything and then some. Tables, table covers, decorations, etc. Everyone raved about the food. At the end of the evening, they came back cleaned up, boxed left overs and left the area spotless. Treat yourself to Larry and the entire team of Sons of Guam for your next event....you won't be sorry.

I needed a caterer for a memorial service. If that wasn't stressful enough to plan. Larry the owner, was responsive, helpful, flexible and the food was perfect. They provided everything and then broke it all down and took it away. What a god send. Thank you for providing us a wonderful meal and with warm smiles during a dark and sad time. You guys were exactly what we needed Thank you!

We hired Larry/Sons of Guam to cater our mother's 98th Birthday Luau and he was wonderful to work with, super accommodating of our menu and budget. He arrived right on time, did a great job setting up our buffet and even brought extra edible orchids to make our tables and plates even more festive and authentic. It was a lunch buffet and we had the Huli Huli Chicken/Fried Rice/Grilled Vegetables/Hawaiian Rolls. All of the food was FANTASTIC, the portions exceeded our expectations and every guest and family member raved about it!! I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone reading this review and hope to have another opportunity to hire him again. Thank you Larry and team for making our mom's 98th birthday luau buffet seamless and special!

Great food and service! Larry was amazing! Get the short rib and lumpia! They also deliver which is convenient.
