I remember as a kid driving down Ben Holt in Stockton and stopping and parking on the side of the busy street and walking to check out a house that had a garage full of miniatures...a snow village if you will. I remember it being there year after year and then I heard that this year someone decided to put that very snow village in the front entrance of what used to be Campbell's in the Village. How quaint is that? We went over to check it out last night...they have actually done a really nice job on the whole thing...the entire front of what used to be the store has hundreds of miniature scenes all pieced together like a town. I bet it took a LONG time to put all of that there in the windows, so who ever thought of the idea should be given a pat on the back for bringing something so cute to Lincoln Center. We were there about 10 - 15 minutes and it seemed to draw a decent crowd even though it was freezing outside. Apparently they light the little town at 5pm every evening and it will be on display until January 6th if you want to get a glimpse of one of Stockton's Christmas traditions. :0)
