Small World Park

Interesting and fun park in the midst of Pittsburg, CA to take your children to! There are a lot of fun areas to let your children play. Once you pay the entry fee, all the rides are free. Our friend's 7 year old daughter loved the zip line area. You have to wait in line and usually the parents make sure the children take their turns. During the summer, there is a train that goes around the park and there is an area to have picnics and BBQ. There is a wooden house with a rube slide and a mechanical ride that kids will lov This is an older park, but well maintained and the children love going there!

I've passed this place a million times, I didn't think it was open. Our friends mom took her great grandkids a week before we went and she convinced us to go because of the crawfish fishing. I highly recommend doing this and getting a pole for yourself! My kids had the most fun fishing for crawfish and zip lining. The day we went the train and carousel weren't open. But this place is huge and lost of play structures and houses for kids to play at. Not to mention the cute spots for birthdays. I was admiring them as every spot had a party during the time we went.Keep in mind this place is cash only. I wasn't aware of it but thankfully our friends mom was prepared. The snack bar does Zelle and I believe you can use card to purchase tickets to get in, but the fishing poles are cash only.

Came again to visit last week. Yes - this place is old but still fun especially for those 3rd grade and under. You can't beat the price too! Still $6 for general admission or $3 for seniors or for little ones. Note there are only 4 rides in the park and when we came on a week day - the carousel and train rides were not working. Boo hoo - that was a bummer. Maybe they run on weekends only. Though I was able to ride on the ferris wheel with my 4 year and 2 year olds - yes it's a tight fit but fun. Warning - the whale ride is a little fast so your llittle one may or may not like it.If you buy the stick and hot dog pieces for $2 to fish - there are 2 ponds to try and see if you catch any crayfish. Be patient!! They are definitely there and hungry too!!

Hosted my daughter's 3rd bday there and it was overall a good experience! I willSay i was a bit frustrated that the train and carousel was down but outside of that the kids had an amazing time!

Our kids had a blast with the unlimited whale ride thanks to Jordan, who kept the kids engaged and made the ride so much fun. They couldn't stop talking about it at dinner. Thanks again, Jordan!

We had the most wonderful experience having our daughter's 2nd birthday party here. Wow. I can't begin to explain how great this place is and what a hidden gem it is! Firstly, Elaine, the woman who runs the place and organizes all the parties, was so patient, helpful and easy to work with. Elaine is the bomb! She hooked us up with a party in the castle on the Sunday before labor day and it was such a great set up, because apparently most people thought it was going to close early that day, but last minute they changed the schedule. It didn't get changed on the website so there were not very many people at the park that day which was great! There are soooo many things to do here. Many playgrounds, different play houses, a zip line, a few rides (the train and carousel are down for an indefinite amount of time, but you don't even need those with everything else going on). If you rent the castle, you only get MORE things to do! There's a huge slide in there (it goes really fast, so rider beware), and there's an obstacle course type thing upstairs. The other incredible thing about the castle is there's a huge table inside with more tables on the outside area, air conditioning, a full kitchen, a BBQ, and a door out the back so at the end of the party, you can drive your car in to load up. The pricing is good! You get discounts if you're bringing over 15 people and then a further discount over 25, I believe. There were so many steps along the way that I was worried the calculation of the reservation or the tickets wouldn't be done right. Or we wouldn't get our deposit back from the city. Everything went so smoothly!! We got all our money back, we were always charged the right amount. I honestly was mad that I hadn't used this place more for my kids prior 6 birthday parties. So don't delay! Have your birthday party there now, you won't regret it.

Nice and clean little park. We held a kids party here and rented the whole park for the day. The kids had a great time.
