Simpson Park

I like this park for the tennis courts! They only have a few so there is no guarantee it won't be full; but, it is a nice local option with a play structure for kids. This is a huge plus for us because we can alternate playing with the little one while two of the other family members get in a game of tennis! There are better walking/bike parks during the pandemic but we were here in mid-March and look forward to coming back when it's fully operational.

This is a nice neighborhood park. It sits behind the Edna Batey Elementary School. The lawn is well maintained. It features a medium sized play structure with a two slides and two bridges. The is also a swing with two seats. There is one soccer field and one baseball diamond. Instead of a dugout they have a single unenclosed bench for each team. There are three-tier metal bleachers for each side. There is a picnic table nearby. There is no parking lot, but plenty of street parking.
