Review #162 - 2020The boys have been bugging me to find a basketball court since we were in Twain Harte so when we were heading back home, I decided to Yelp a park that has a basketball court and a playground. We showed up at around 1 PM on Sunday, August 23rd, but little did I realize that this park was located in a pretty nice little community. The park was empty when we first showed up so we had the whole place to ourselves. The teenage boys had a great time playing basketball while the younger kids played on the playground. My brother-in-law brought a kid's archery set to let the kids shoot and the open space was perfect for it.A few people showed up a little later and the place didn't feel as empty anymore. The park is very nice and clean. The bathrooms were open, even though there were caution tapes on the playground, which people had already ripped off. It was surprisingly clean for a public park restroom.

I like this park. I usually walk my dog or bring the kids to play on the slides and swings. It is usually very clean and has a ton of families around. I have never ran into any issues at this park! It also has a hill to run up and down on. Great cardio workout!

Nice little spot! Vibrant green patch in the midst of the neighborhood along with a little playground. Bathroom was accessible and reasonably clean, and the trashcans were quite tidy around it, appearing to be quite well maintained across the board. Parking was easy to find and it doesn't seem to get all that crowded.

Well maintained large park with two half basketball courts, toddler and big kids play structure, two ping pong tables, a few covered tables, and a huge as in ginormous L shaped field. Only thing not great is the lack of shade on the play structures which makes them unusable during the hot summers when the sun is beating down on them on 90-105 degree days. Some parks have water features and that would be a nice addition but I would rather see shade added before any kind of water fountains for kids to play in.

Located right next to the cross road shopping center, Silva Park has a toddler area and older kids area. Along with a basket ball court and huge field area.I enjoy bringing my kids here to play and have picnics, but since this park is still relatively "new" to riverbank. There are no public bathrooms or even a pavilion/shaded area for rental. The trees are still quite young but give enough shade, though. A new Silva Park phase 2 has been approved. So in the next coming year public bathrooms, pavilion area, and table tennis area has been added. A great and added bonus to this park. But there are other parks in the city of riverbank that already have these things, and unfortunelty because it's not in the "newer more desirable" part of riverbank they become neglected by the city and have only basic care. Community center park is awesome, castleburg park is home to all softball and baseball games of LONG time residents of Riverbanks family and friends. All in all it still is a good park and will be even more awesome when Phase 2 is completed.

Good neighborhood park. There are restrooms available, a small pavilion with picnic tables, two tennis tables, two half courts for basketball and some playground equipment. Could use more shade in these hot Central Valley summers.
