Silt Wine Company

Loved this hidden gem so much, we decided to become members. Amongst all the wineries, their wines are my #1. Love the cozy beautiful winery itself, with the lovely views of the vineyard especially at sunset. Truly a must visit.

We were invited to Silt by our friends who are members. Such a beautiful and welcoming winery! We thoroughly enjoyed all the wine selections we tried and Mia (I think that was her name) made our experience exceptional! Kudos to her for her over the top service and smiles! We look forward to coming back again soon to experience some of the other wines. It may seem like a long country road to get there, but trust me, it is well worth it!!

We recently joined "Silt" and what a stunning place! Beautiful grounds and lovely Barn with the best Customer Service (Mia) super friendly and knowledgeable of the wines and history. Can't wait to go back and 100% recommend!

I was lucky enough to have my wedding at Silt in November of this year. My husband and I had an incredibly smooth and painless experience planning our wedding thanks to the wonderful people at Silt. They are accommodating, organized and kind at every step of the way! I even became a wine club member during our wedding planning process because I was so impressed! My wedding day was truly perfect and that was all thanks to this wonderful business.

Great wine and excellent sommelier ... she really new her wines. It was a crazy hot day and they had air chillers that definitely helped.Sparking Chenin blanc is one of favorites and is smooth clean no tartness. The Rose came in second with crisp light with a blackberry note Sauvignon blanc is a delicious red Slightly Grassy and fruity at the same time. It's a small little gem ... make sure you call and book.

Our 1st time visiting the winery & had a great time there. The tasting room is inside the barn that's decorated in a wooden farmhouse style that you feel very comfortable in. $25 for wine tasting & you get to try 4 wines. We also ordered some crackers, cheese & hummus thinking they will come out in bowls or plates but they all came out in store packages instead. Our server, Katie explained that they don't really prepare food there.The snacks went pretty well with the wine Katie recommended for us. She's a doll!!! You can bring your own snacks there, they don't mind. We also went for a walk outside & the place is gorgeous! I can sit there relaxing & sipping wine all day long...

Gorgeous place. I can't say enough about how beautiful the grounds are. The drive to Silt is gorgeous too. Love the winding road, and I actually don't mind the ocasional bike riders on the road that slow my drive to Silt...that's how gorgeous the street to get there is. The tasting room itself is spacious. There's a couple of different rooms, and there's no bad seating area. The quality of wine is impressive. My sisters, my partner and I have different love of wines, and we all agreed these wines are solid! Some like certain wines more than others, but we all left enjoying our tasting...so much so we became wine club members! Some of our faves: Sparkling Chenin Blanc, 2019 Pinot Noir, 2021 Rose of Valdiguie, and my personal favorite, 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon. I do have to say, please bring your patience...by no means is the service bad, they just don't come around as often as one likes when in a time crunch. I wouldn't come here first if you have another appointment. They do have yummy snacks, even vegan snacks, so you won't become Hangry, but if you have plans, just give yourself enough time so not to ruin this beautiful place and wine. To me, it's worth it, as I can enjoy my time with my family, and the view, as they take their time.

Hadn't been to Clarksburg but wanted to show my friend who was in town a good time. We had a wonderful tasting here. Teresa was generous with her time and knowledge, and we were impressed with everything we tried. It was beautiful outside, and we purchased some snacks to accompany our wine. We will return and likely join their club. Every wine we tried was great.

50th wedding anniversary Dodd was excellent wine was flowing very good wine very hospitable and friendly I will go back it was fun. I have wanted to go there since 2020 Covid got in the way I will definitely go again

My husband and I got married here in October 2024 and had the best experience. Robyn and her team made wedding planning seamless. We used the Isabella package and were very happy with all the vendors. Our guests were blown away by the event. For weeks, our family and friends could not stop talking about how incredible the wedding was. People said it was the BEST wedding they had ever been to. We would have to agree!
