Big thank you to Sierra West Boat Works as they were able to complete a complex fiberglass repair in one day!Tugzilla had a stern thruster cowling literally fall off, as unbeknownst to me, that the tunnel and the cowling were not compatible despite being from the same manufacturer. The solution was to fiberglass the cowlings and tunnel together into one piece. Sierra West Boat Works hauled Tugzilla, pressure washed, prepared and fiberglass new cowlings, barrier and bottom paint and launched in one day!Fast, efficient and great pricing! Great job on my Nordic tug. Bottom paint and new zinc's. Went way beyond the call of duty to work with a Boat carrier to accommodate a surprise series of surprise schedule changes. These guys are great thank you Terry and John.

I had my newly purchased used 1973 25 foot Chris Craft inboard just about completely redone and they did a marvelous job. A whole new electrical system, galley, pressure water system, propane stove and BBQ, refrigerator, and they arranged to have a company redo all of the inside cushions. They also repaired blisters on the bottom.Very nice people and fair pricing.

Have had occasion to use Sierra West Boat Works several times over the past year and would highly recommend them to anyone needing boat service or repair. I have found them to be very responsive to my inquiries and their work to be overall excellent in every respect. They seem to be able to accomplish most any task at hand and to do in a friendly professional manner. I should also add that whenever I have asked for an estimate of cost before the job is undertaken, I have always been surprised to find it actually cost less then estimate rather then "just a little bit more" as all to frequently happens at other shops. I brought my boat in for some major upgrades to this shop. Terry the owner , John and Ed who work on the shop. These guys took care of me every step of the way. The items i wanted installed were a challenge to make work for my boat. The team came up with some excellent solutions and did an amazing job. The customer service and the skill at his shop is top notch. I will be coming back to this shop for all my boating needs.

Terry Ames and his team at Sierra West Boatworks are top notch. They gave our trawler a paint job and repaired rot in the transom. Job was done efficiently at reasonable price. They know what they're doing and are extremely service oriented - made us feel like our job was important to them. If I could give a sixth star on the rating I would due to their attention to detail. They even fixed some little niggling items that I didn't request: example - that hard-to-find locking nut on that switch on the fly bridge. Where did they even find that thing? Seriously - Sierra West is a good find!
