When I got invited to play here I wasn't expecting much since in my mind it was "only a nine hole" but what a pleasant surprise. Very nice course that is a par 36. It was, dare I say, a cute course. Lol. But if you play the back tees then it is decently long. It was not flat at all with quite a bit of rolling hills. Greens were pretty fast and look like they were in the last stages of healing from aeration. I would totally come back to play here. The patio looked nice at the clubhouse to have a beer in the shade watching people tee off on number 1. Good times! Finished our round in 2 hours and 10ish minutes on a Friday evening.

I went and played here yesterday and my car was smashed by one of their golf carts by a drunk or very negligent golfer.!!!!!! They said that they cant do anything and I would have to file a police report. Very disappointed that this is their protocol for getting my car damaged on their premises.

Have played at this course before and never had a problem. The personnel are nice and reservations are really easy. The course plays very well with good tee boxes, well maintained fairways and lightning fast greens. But this time, all didn't go so smooth. There was a confusion about the number of players. I had called and corrected for 4 instead of two, and they were confused about the name on the reservations, I had the paper in hand. We had cart #11 and it was pretty much trouble from the third hole on. The brake wouldn't engage and it was tough to park on the slopes because it would begin to roll away. On number #4 the cart became slower and hard to keep up, but grin and bear it, we rolled on, until the fairway on #6, IT DIED.We were in the middle of the fairway and had to push this heavy cart towards the cart path and hopefully the shade, it was becoming a little hot.We flagged down a maintenance person, who said he would call it in. He even had to push this heavy cart up the cart path to get it into the shade. He left us and no one came. We let two groups play through thinking that the cart was on the way. We called the Pro shop and Patrick didn't know anything about the cart. We decided that we would take the other cart and go back to the pro shop and get a cart. We met the new cart about half the way back to the Pro shop and followed them back to the dead cart. We did the swap out and proceeded on to #7. Frustrated with the cart and the delay we didn't play well at all during the final two holes. Who's responsibility is it to ensure that the battery is fully charged and who checks the battery when the cart is put on the line to send out on the course? We paid $72.00 for 2 rounds of fun golf and ended up with a dead cart battery and frustrated play. . . .

I really like playing this course. Timber Creek too. I don't know if I've experienced tee time and money takers at the front counter who are as impersonal, unfriendly and rude as they are at Sierra Pines. They certainly aren't professionals just schleps taking times and fees. Sad..

Busiest Thursday afternoon COVID or not seniors are comfortable not practicing social distancing sitting in parties of 6 (3 tables at a time ) no mask no time limit no consistency of food eaten (prior to lunch given ) just tables outside crammed together & waitstaff doing there All as usual I assume to people stuck on their mannerisms of their way of life rushing me in line in this weather to me a young women. Beautiful place not the nicest welcoming of crowd.

We love this well-maintained 9-hole. Not a lot of super long holes, but a pleasure every time.
