Sierra Oaks

It has come to my attention that a friend of mines account was banned for writing poor reviews of Sierra Oaks Apartments, he had uploaded almost 200 photos of poor upkeep of the property which Sierra Oaks then claimed was not photos of their property (which was a blatant lie). Furthermore they paid Yelp to have the photos removed. These people are liars and they are crooks. DO NOT SIGN A LEASE FOR ANY AMOUNT OF TIME with these people! I don't know how long they will allow this post or this account to exist. But you can clearly see I have a following on here and my reviews are generally good. So the fact I'm giving A bad review should really say something to you about Sierra Oaks and their BS operations.

Currently a resident & I am disappointed in how much I get charged in fees especially pest control but have spiders constantly in our hallways and not to mention the trail of ants that randomly appear. Also the pigeon poop is literally everywhere, maybe some roof spikes would be ideal to spare some of the residents cars and appearance.

I was considering applying and renting here, but it seems as though that these reviews are consistently poor. It seems as though the premium of what looks like a nice and safe apartment community is not being compensated equitably with proper management. I'll search elsewhere. Thanks for the honest reviews from everyone here.

Martina helped me with my process and was so genuine and nice. She made the process exciting. I never had this experience in the past with other management in previous apartments. She has a kind heart and answered all my questions without hesitation. I'm excited to move into my new apartment

Beware: The most expensive apartments in town come with a gate at the entrance... and not much else. I spend 6 months with water draining from the ceiling. Maintenance came out 8 times and failed to fix the issue. When they decided to raise the rent on this 2/2 from 1800 to 2000/mo (the max increase allowed by Ca during COVID) for an apartment with no pool access, no workout faculty, smarmy staff.. I bounced. I left the place in better condition than when I moved in... still charged me $300 for cleaning and paint. They made no concession for 6 months of having a shower in my living room.

I never lived here, but when we applied, we paid 900$ to apply and hold a floor plan. 100$ went towards the application fee and 800$ went towards holding the room. Anyway, we changed our mind and decided not to sign a lease, and then we found out that the deposit was nonrefundable. The paperwork we digitally signed disclosed this, however, it was a very long document and we didn't take the time to read the whole thing. In my opinion though, it was very scammy of them to not tell us upfront about that, because everyone knows no one reads the fine print. And had we known, we would've waited to apply. At the very least, whoever is reading this won't make the same mistake.

Overall our time here has been nice! Front office staff are friendly, the maintenance guys are great and hard workers. Close to shopping centers and schools! Great area to raise children in my opinion. Very spacious living area. Rooms are a good size and bathroom. Amenities are nice! The only thing is I wish the hot tub was working. I was told a month before I moved in that it would be fixed in a week. When we moved in June 2022 it was still broken, no big deal. But we just signed our second lease and it's still not fixed. It was one of the main amenities I was excited for. They have replied to my email regarding the matter saying they are looking for another vendor so I'm excited for when it is back up and running!

Martina is the BEST! She's there with you throughout the process and always keeps you in the loop! Even after the move in, she still checks in to see how things are and makes sure everything is up and running smooth. I'm happy I went through everything with her!!

This place it's not clean. They never clean the place. Lots of pigeon droppings outside, especially by garage. Stairways are full of cockroaches, spiders and ants. There is spiderwebbed all over the stairs. Inside the apartment they have issues with cockroaches, ants and spiders and mouse. The apartments look nice, but cleaning it's a major issue. For $2035.00 rent they should clean the place.

There are so many hidden fees at this complex and the people who work there can not really help you because they have all their rules and regulations from "those that be" above them. The Homeless come in at all times if the night to steal from the dumpsters or anything you may leave out. It's loud being right on Christoffersen and the parking situation is a nightmare. Inside the apartment is loud as well, Being in the bottom floor I could hear my upstairs neighbors two dogs barking at all times of the night. I could hear them pee and argue. When you move out they will charge you as much as possible no matter how clean you leave it. It looks like a nice place when you first see it but it is NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY! I urge you to find some place else to move into. They call themselves a community but it is a facade. Please don't screw yourself by moving into Sierra Oaks Apartments. They will nickel and dime you to make their money.
