Love this place, specially on rainy Saturdays to cozy up under their heated seating with a cocktail while watching the rain AND Pleasanton's awesome Farmer's Market!! Life's good in Pleasanton!!My favorite appetizer is their Thai Cauliflower Wings and their Ceviche .. yum!Everything here is delicious and service has always been top notch!! Will be back for more!!

Service was FANTASTIC. Food not so much.. We came here after attending a show on our way home. The place is too noisy! You cannot hear anyone at the table, so talking during dinner is out. Five of us came in for dinner. 3 has comments on their food. Salmon was too salty, pastrami was soooo dry, and temp of course could have been better. 2 were happy with their choices. Again service was great. She was attentive and checked back all the time. With so many other places to try, we probably will not be back.

First time at this spot but it was pretty great. Really friendly staff also but hotel cow the menu. There were 10 different dishes I wanted to try but sadly my stomach can only handle one. I went with salmon sandwich and it was very solid. I also had the Oreo milkshake and that was fantastic. Will be back to try some of those other dishes...

My wife & I came while visiting downtown Pleasanton. The restaurant is one block off of Main Street which is great. It was a Saturday around 2pm so it was busy but not crowded. We were served by Eduardo who was friendly and upbeat. The menu was varied and a bit more options that we expected. There is seating outside but we chose to stay inside. Plenty of TV's to watch if that is important. We ordered two salads an Ahi Tuna & seared Salmon. I also ordered a cup of New England clam chowder. I should have ordered a bowl as I could not keep my wife away from it. Probably the best chowder I have ever tasted. Maybe will go back for a bowl soon. Salads were fresh & plentiful. We split a chocolate cake which was also very good. Overall a great experience without breaking the bank. (Restroom was very clean.) The Mrs. & I will visit again. We also met one of the managers Karen who was great helping us out with some questions.

In town with family and they recommended Sidetrack. Even though Pleasanton had a concert in the park we were still able to find parking close by.Our waitress was great, we received water upon sitting. She came back fast and took our drink order and appetizer. Once the drinks were delivered she took our order. Food came out fast and hot.We started off with Spicy Tater Tots, definitely enough to share with 4 people. They were hot on delivery, a ton of them with a small container of catsup. They had a dry rub on them that had a slight kick.My wife order the special brisket street tacos (brisket, cilantro and onions on a corn tortilla) 4 in the order with spicy salsa and sliced limes. My wife said they were very good.I order the Pecos Chicken Salad (pretty much a southwest salad), romaine lettuce, grilled chicken with BBQ Sauce, avocado slices, black beans, tomatoes, corn, tortilla strips, cheese with spicy dressing. This was a good sized salad, great taste. I would order it again. My brother in law had the Brisket Sandwich said it had good flavor but dry. My sister had a chicken sandwich and she loved it.They have a full bar (wife loved her margarita), also a large craft beer selection.Plenty of seating inside and outside on the patio. 2 TV's over the bar showing games. Pub feel inside. Next time I'm in the area I would stop in.

This is a great spot to grab some delicious food and drink, and catch a game on the multiple TV screens. The service is the best and very friendly. One of my favorite spots in Pleasanton.

After having lunch here over 5 years ago, I thought I give this place another shot. 1st their service have gotten a lot better. But I can't tell if it's because the restaurant was half empty at 7pm on a Saturday, where most restaurant are packed with wait times.Bartender came over took our drink and appetizers orders pretty fast. The Chesapeake Bay Style Crab Cakes were very mushy, and I'm pretty sure it is from frozen and not fresh crabs. It also doesn't taste like crab either. The sauce that came with it didn't taste like lemon aioli. 0 StarsThe Fried pickles were one of the betters one I had. 4 StarsThe Applewood Bacon Burger was good, the patty was nice and juicy, came with lots of bacon, grilled mushrooms & onions. The garlic fried that came with the burger was just average, not mixed well. 4 StarsThe Brooklyn Style Hot Pastrami sandwich is one of the worst I ever had, the meat were dried and tasted like roast beef. 0 StarsThe clam chowder that came with the pastrami sandwich was good. 3 Stars.

It's a cute local spot; you can tell they have their regulars. The food was decent and the portions are good. The meal was 120$, which to me, is vastly overpriced. The service is so so, seems like a bunch of unmotivated teens; although I do have to say the food runners are very sweet and attentive. Overall decent experience, but don't see a need to go back. They do have free parking in a private lot and it's a prime location.

Sidetrack is great, but not excellent. And that's okay! First time tonight, in time for happy hour, service was prompt, food came out piping hot, and that's always a good sign! French fries weren't sitting out. We'd come back and try other goodies on the menu, too many great choices, also wish we had room for dessert. Clean, plenty of tables.Portobello sandwich needs some more fillers to give it some volume, everything smashed down to 1" thickness. Pesto and cheese were great in it. The side romaine salad was refreshing, love when I can taste the crunch of carrots and cucumber. The crab melt came with a ton of hot fresh French fries. So many, we didn't finish them! Will be back! Must. Save. Room. For. Dessert.
