I have bought multiple firearms from Shooters, reloading supplies, and various accessories for all my shooting needs, and I have always had top notch service. I went in just recently with a reloading question, and when we couldn't figure it out , they even took the time to call a gentleman who is very knowledgeable in reloading and he helped us over the phone. Now that's Top Notch Service. As far as I'm concerned ,I will continue to conduct my business with Doug and his employees, and continue to support our local Businesses.

I have not purchased a firearm here but I have bought a few mags and other accessories here. They are very helpful and attentive. Their gun prices seem a little high. Customer service is top notch.

Friendly and treated me like family addressing me by my name every time I come in and asks about my wife as well. Someone that they've never met just heard me speak about. Knowledgeable about the inventory and what one needs to do, according to the law that is. I appreciate the friendly service. It's not everyday I get that especially when my money spends just like the rest out here in Oakdale. Salute Shooter's!!!

Called asking about a product and if they had in stock. It was in stock but they refused to tell me the price! Said "we don't quote prices over the phone"." Why not? So much for shopping around for best price. Don't waste your time.

If I could rate my experience a zero I would. Mine is a long story. I dealt with Doug first time buying a gun. Found the pistol that I wanted filled out paperwork, I explained to Doug that we had just moved to the area so didn't have new address on my drivers license. He said no problem I just needed a utility bill with my name on it. He said to come back tomorrow.. Got the paperwork went there the next day which was Wednesday the day before Thanksgiving they were closed would be open Friday. Went back on Friday brought my bill to Doug and he said I needed another bill with my address on it. Asked him if I could email it to him and he gave me his wives email address. Went home send the email. Next day Saturday called later in afternoon to see if he got it and he was gone for the day explained to the young kid that works there what was going on and he said he would get the message to Doug on Tuesday when he was in. Called Tuesday talked to Doug said his wife wasn't in yet. Okay. Waited another day didn't hear anything. Called the next day Doug wasn't in talked to someone else he checked the paperwork to see if it was all ok he said it still needed that one document. By this time I was done. The next day went back to cancel the sale. Now mind you the pistol had not left the store but I also bought a holster and lock box which Doug said I needed. Decided to keep the lock box and return the holster. Explained that I was canceling the sale and explained to Doug why he had another employee to do the paperwork. At the end they changed me 25% restocking fee. This was not my fault they failed to follow through not me. My husband said let it go so I did. Went down the street to an awesome shop got the same gun for way cheaper. Brought the gun home yesterday and guess what the gun is to big for the lock box which Doug is the one who picked it out. So bottom line go down the street to do your business they are awesome..

I tried to buy some 12 gauge shells there yesterday. The guy would not sell them to me. It is a long story that I will explain, but in short don't go here, save yourself the BS and go to Big 5 sports instead because I bought my shells there today easy as pie. If you want to know why, read on. I walked into shooters Warehouse and asked the guy for 3 inch 12 gauge shells. He asked for my drivers license. I gave it to him and he said "Do you have a birth certificate or passport with you?" Confused, I said "No." He then barked out "Federal limits apply." I was still confused, and he began to expound all of this crap about a "real ID" is now needed to buy ammo. He said that If I had a birth certificate and passport with my driver's license, I might be able to buy the shells. He then went on and on about my Driver's license being "federal limits apply." Then he went into 15 minute lecture about how to go to the DMV to get a "real ID" with tons of documentation. I left thinking what a bunch of crap, and thinking that he is like most gun shop employees who love to hear themselves talk about their own their own gun knowledge. These are the guys who make you just not want to go into gun shops. I went home and started looking through the internet about "Federal limits apply." It turns out that "federal Limits apply" is printed on Ca driver's license of immigrants who come to the US without citizenship and get a driver's license. I don't know how blind this gun shop dork was, but I am about as Caucasian as you can be, and I was born in Stockton, Ca. I the scoured my driver's license with a magnifying glass at home, and it does not say "Federal Limits Apply" anywhere on my license. Anyhow, I called the Bass Pro this morning and asked them what I needed to buy ammo. The lady said that I needed a real ID, or my regular California driver's license with a copy of my birth certificate showing that I was born in California. I thought that sounds like crap too. I figured that I should go over to the Big 5 and try them since I just bought ammo at the Big 5 a month ago with my regular California driver's license. I went to the Big 5 today. I told the Big 5 clerk today that I wanted the 3 inch 12 gauge shells. He asked for my driver's license, he then asked if I live at the address on the license. I said yes. He then asked where I was born, I said Stockton. He then asked if I had bought a gun since 2014 while living at my current address. I said yes. He then said that there will be a $1 background check. I said, OK. he took my drivers license to the backroom and did the background check. He came back out in less than 5 minutes with the two background check forms for me to sign. I signed the forms and bought my ammo, no problem. Save yourself the hassle and avoid Shooters Warehouse and go to Big 5.
