Shirt Tales

I love this store! Every time we visit Murphy we come to this store and I always find 2 or 3 items that fit great. These are clothes that are unique and so beautiful. I forgot an item when visiting last time and Susan drove out to where we were to drop it off. She is really customer service oriented and goes the "extra mile" to make sure customers are taken care of, literally! I will continue to stop in every time we are near Murphy because its always a win!

Every time I visit my sister who lives in Murphy's we make a trek into Susan's store. We live in her clothes. Right now I am awaiting a replacement pair of my favorite beige pants which I can only find with Susan. And she doesn't mind special orders! Fun store!!!

Great boutique with great fitting jeans and shorts selection. Even had her order my size and send them. Great customer service.

I shopped here while visiting a friend Kate on St. Patty's weekend. The owner of the shop, Susan, was very helpful and turned me on to what she promised would be the best pants I will ever own! She is a great sales person and so without hesitation, I bought 3 pairs of these pants. I now realize I should have gotten MORE!!! Recently, I have searched high and low for more of these (sold out,) pants locally and even on the Internet, but decided to continue to support the small business Shirt Tales instead.I was hoping for more Capri pants which were out of stock. Instead, she offered to have her seamstress hem the longer pants to look like Capri's with the little side slit at the hem for a nominal fee. That is a person who goes all out to please her customers.Since I live 2 hours from the shop, I called and ordered them to be shipped. What was so adorable, was that the owner offered to meet me in a nearby city in the Bay Area to bring them to me since she is coming to visit a friend anyway. It really touched me how genuinely caring and sweet this owner is and how she is willing to go the EXTRA MILE. (Pun intended!)I am very glad to be a repeat customer and when I am in town I will always revisit her store. Meanwhile, ordering over the phone and having them shipped is WELL worth my time and money! Thanks Susan for all of your wonderful customer service. We shopped here last Friday while visiting Murphys. The owner was there and was so helpful to us. We probably hit every store in Murphys and what I liked about the items at this store, they were unique. I don't want to see things I can easily get at the mall. I left with a wool jacket and a really cute new top. Will definitely stop there again when visiting my parents.

Just came back from a five day girls getaway visit in Murphys. Some of the girls came back from a day of shopping and they all had made purchases at Shirt Tales. So another batch went shopping and came back with more purple bags from Shirt Tales. The getaway continued with small groups going specifically to Shirt Tales. (There were 15 of us total.) I needed nothing, so vowed to stay away, until, finally, I gave in after the last group came back with their purchases. The owner of the store, Susan, is just great and really has a good selection of clothing and accessories in her store. Everybody bought pants and/or crop pants that they absolutely loved. No zipper, stretchy, but very nice fitting and everyone loved them. I really didn't need any pants, although, it was tempting, since everyone was raving about them. If you're in Murphys, it's worth taking a few minutes to check it out.

What a find! The name of the store is misleading. I thought they only sold t-shirts and tops, who knew? They have a great selection of Women's comfy and fashionable jeans and pants, contemporary tops and sweaters, accessories and jewelry. Gentlemen, there are items for you too. Be sure to check out their fun selection of fun socks. There is something for everyone and every budget here.

Susan is great. She is very professional and personal with people. She special orders sizes for you if she doesn't have them in stock. The best pants, capris I ever purchased. They are so comfortable and well made. Worth every penny....like wearing your PJ's all day. Her shop always has a new line of unique clothes and all sizes plus men's too. She has many repeat customers. She knows her business and great customer service. Small unique shop with many styles... a must visit when wine tasting.
