If you are searching for an event planner in the bay area, specifically a wedding coordinator or planner, look no further! Jessica is a GODSEND and even our close friends and family kept calling her Superwoman. We hired her for day-of wedding coordination services, but really starting from a couple months out, Jessica was such a vital part of our wedding preparation process. Working with her you can always expect enthusiasm, preparedness, professionalism, and organization. I am incredibly type A as I used to work in event planning as well, and she gave me the space to be detail-oriented and specific while still offering so much support, advice, and flexibility. I didn't have to worry about the tiniest things because Jessica was already there solving it or picking up the pieces (literally - during our wedding someone dropped and shattered glass on the dance floor and within 2 seconds Jessica was sprinting towards it with a broom & dustpan). Every Zoom meeting we had left us feeling calm, peaceful, and confident in our wedding planning process. Our actual wedding day was executed perfectly. When hiccups or delays inevitably occur, she handles them with calm and immediate problem-solving that literally no one can tell there was a hiccup at all. Her timelines are impeccable. I didn't have to worry about a single thing and still am in awe with how perfectly everything looked and ran. She communicated with all our vendors and guests with clarity and respect and was the glue that made all the components of our day come together cohesively. All our decorations were placed perfectly. We had a complicated wedding that required a complete flip of the room from ceremony to reception -- and it was all done seamlessly.Aside from her immense skill, poise, and grace as a master planner, I also cannot stress enough how GREAT of a person Jessica is - trust me when I say that your wedding day is so much more satisfying and memorable when the vendors you work with are good human beings who are genuinely excited for you - and that's exactly what Jessica is. She was very COVID-conscious and made us feel extra safe every time we met in person as well. She went above and beyond for us and she will always be such a positive memory from our day. :)Also, you're not going to find more reasonably priced wedding coordinators/planners in the Bay Area with the skill level Jessica has. She is so fair with her pricing and doesn't hike up what she charges just because everything in the wedding industry is crazy expensive (although to be fair, she could, probably should, and definitely deserves all the raises in the world). Jessica is incredibly organized and and detailed, we hired her as a day of coordinator, but she was really a "month-of" coordinator. She coordinated with all of our vendors and she made sure everything went smoothly on our wedding day. Her experience is evident from the various planning spreadsheets she uses. She had timelines mapped out (day of the wedding and the day before). If anyone asked me, I would highly recommend Jessica and Shine Event Productions for their wedding.

My husband and I got married 11/28/21 and hiring Jessica was the BEST decision we made. From the first zoom call I had with Jessica I knew she would make our special day perfect, and that is exactly what she did.I worked with Jessica for 2-3 months leading up to our wedding and she went above and beyond to make sure every little detail was taken care of. I usually like to be in control but Jessica made me feel at ease handing everything over to her. She handled all the communication with vendors, coordinating with the venue, and creating a very detailed day of time line. Jessica executed EVERYTHING perfectly - planning, rehearsal, decor set up, vendor management. Literally all I had to do was show up - everything was taken care of. I could not have asked for a more genuine, fun, caring person to be part of our wedding day. Jessica is amazing and I will be forever grateful.

I don't have enough superlatives to express how truly wonderful working with Jessica was for our wedding! We initially asked her to do our day of coordination plus some organization of vendors and referrals before hand. Unfortunately, due to the global pandemic, we had to cancel our original larger gathering and held a small church ceremony instead.Our wedding day would not have been as smooth or as beautiful were it not for the amazing organization, care, hard work, and amazing energy of Jessica Harris! She went above and beyond for our wedding and even captured it on Zoom for our guests! Her recording of the Zoom feed is a priceless gift that we'll treasure forever! Jessica has an amazing talent of anticipating what you need before you know you need it and is super detail oriented! She juggled all the tech for the wedding and was super gracious with her time before the wedding-she went to the ceremony site to make sure we could do a virtual rehearsal. She was the point person and we feel so grateful that she could still help on our wedding day!I can't stress enough how amazing she is and would wholeheartedly recommend Shine Event Productions for wedding planning and coordination. We spoke to several other planners and Jessica was the only person who shared our values and was excited to work with us (even though we had a modest budget). She is incredible and we can't wait to work with her again once we reschedule the larger wedding!

We hired Jessica a year ahead of time to help with our wedding. My partner and I had high expectations, and Jessica delivered. When our venue and the surrounding neighborhood experienced a power outage the afternoon of our wedding (seriously), Jessica stayed calm and worked with the venue behind the scenes (without adding to our stress at all) to figure out contingency plans and get the power back on (which thankfully happened just in time). In addition to the day-of, Jessica was extremely patient and professional with our venue (not easy), recommended some key vendors (photobooth, band), and kept us on track. She was also just incredibly sweet and kind to us. Thank you Jessica!

My wife, Shawn, and I were married on September 2. The city had just instituted an indoor mask mandate a couple weeks before. We had to transition to an entirely outdoor wedding with new vendors (outdoor lighting, heaters, dance floor) and coordinate all of our existing vendors to adjust to an entirely different plan. And then the vendors started falling through; the caterer and musicians we had arranged over a year prior dropped out. We were struggling and didn't know where to turn. That's when we found Jessica. From our first call, I felt the relief of knowing that an expert with vision, intelligence, and grace was taking control. Jessica spent hours taking our calls, listening to the hopes we shared for our wedding, and ensuring that no detail was overlooked. Jessica found new vendors, rearranged the entire wedding so that it could be held outdoors, and made every last detail happen just as planned. She even brought her own lighting and decor to create a gorgeous bar in the woods. Jessica helped give us the most beautiful event we'd ever seen. Most of all, Jessica made it so that my wife and I could experience the joy in what was the best night of our lives. We're sad it's over, because we miss regularly talking to someone who became our friend along the way. But we're so happy knowing that Jessica is spreading that joy to other loving couples.

I cannot begin to describe how amazing Jessica is. As our wedding coordinator she truly hit it out of the park with everything. She was incredibly organized, very thorough, adaptable, helpful, sincere, so cheerful and sweet. Especially with everything COVID, she was calm every step of the way and helped us with everything. She helped create the most amazing schedule (even our officiant said it was the most detailed and clear schedule he'd ever seen!) and the day of she executed it flawlessly, even when some things had to change last minute. After the wedding people came up to us and told us how amazing and cheerful she was. We were so grateful to have her and would highly highly recommend!!!!!!

Jessica was the perfect point person, making sure things ran smoothly and efficiently, always with a smile on her face. We never had to check the time or think about the schedule of events because she made sure things moved along and stayed on track; she always made sure we had what we needed--and a drink in our hand at all times, and if anything went wrong (e.g. the aisle runner wouldn't stay in place, we ran out of disposable cups at the reception, etc.), she made last-minute decisions for us so that we didn't have to worry about any of it!If you are on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, we recommend at least talking with Jessica--she has a lot of experience and provided us with a lot of good options.

I felt very confident having Jessica as my day-of coordinator to help make sure my wedding day was a success. From the start I knew she would do what was needed to help me coordinate some details in advance vs. just show up the day of which is how some other coordinators seemed to be. Jessica has a lot of offerings for more extensive wedding planning, but if you plan to do most of the planning yourself like me and want someone on the day of to know your plan so you can relax, she will be a perfect fit! She sent me a planning checklist month by month and met with me a few times to talk about different scenarios, including the week of when we had an unexpected rainstorm and needed to make plans to bring our outdoor ceremony inside. She always took the time that was needed to finalize the details until I felt comfortable. She adapted my schedule into a more detailed schedule taking into account every detail and every person who needed to be included. She was able to herd cats (my very loud and excited family) and get them to follow orders! Everything on the wedding day went as planned, even to my surprise! Because of the rain, there were some minor issues (like the ceiling in the hallway leaking) and Jessica worked with the venue to detour guests from the space without me even knowing until after the wedding. Most importantly she is a lovely person and so easy to work with, and I always looked forward to our calls. I highly recommend her!

And Jessica's very flexible about giving you the kind of support you need.2) She saved us money, finding lower cost options than we could have otherwise discovered. 3) She is a joy to work with. I'm indecisive, and she struck just the right balance between supporting my desire to explore lots of options, and encouraging me to make decisions that would save me time and effort later.
