Sherman's Buffet 2

Great place for reasonably priced Chinese food. Portions are very very generous. The workers are always busy and they are constantly brining out freshly made item there is indoor sitting but not much of an ambiance. Perfect for take out, though. Highly recommend

Sherman's Buffet 2 is more of a to-go spot than a traditional buffet. The space is quite small, and lines can often extend out the door, primarily because many customers take their time deciding what they want. I once encountered some unpleasant, overdue chicken in my fried chicken order, which was quite disappointing.The service can feel rushed, so it's best to know what you want before you approach the counter, as the staff tends to push for quick decisions, which can come off as a bit impolite.Overall, if you're okay with the occasional hit or miss in freshness, Sherman's offers good value for your money. If not, you might want to think twice before stopping by.

Hella mad I stay in Tracy had a Dr. Appointment in Stockton so stopped on my way back home ordered a large box of the pork fried rice and the lady went in the back so I was happy like cool fresh batch got home right now and it's a plain rice hella mad. Normally place is good hella dissatisfied today though paid 9 dollars for some plain rice

The only thing I can understand about this place, is the quantity of food. The place doesn't look very clean. The food is less than mediocre. I guess it's the price that keeps this place open. We've only been there once, & just can't bring ourselves to return.

I was in Stockton on Business the Other day!!!Then I got a little Hangry !!!LoL!!!So I Checked My Yelp App and Sherman's Buffet 2 popped up!!!I haven't been to a Buffet in years!!!!So I rolled to Sherman's Buffet!Found it easily enough and Parked right out front!! Parking is Plentiful as they are Located in a Stripmall. I rolled in to Sherman's Buffet 2 to find out it is not a Buffet at all!!!No Buffet at All!!!!It's a To - Go Fast Food Restaurant!!!And That's It!!!!!Ok !!!Time to Adapt and Overcome!!!!The place is Popular it's a Chinese Fast Food Restaurant!!!!They keep their Food Stocked up in their Steam Tables!!!!There was a Line Out the Door!!!!I jumped in to the Line and waited!!The Line Moved Slow !!!The People in Line were buying Multiple Meals!!!!! LoL Finally it was my turn !!!I ordered the Vegetable Chow Mein ,Sweet and Sour Pork And Mongolian Chicken Meal I also Bought 5 Boneless Fried Chicken Thighs!!! Servers were Attentive and Fast !!!!Very Efficient!!!!Prices are Post Biden definitely effected by inflation!!!My food cost $18 Dollars!!! On the higher end of the Price Spectrum!!!I ate the food and it was Tasty!!!!I would go again if I was in the Area!!!I keep my Pimp Hand Strong!!!

So I just got off work and I had to drop off some stuff at a friends house and I was craving something different, I definitely did not want to cook on a Friday night so I wanted something fast and easy and not be waited on so I decided to come to Sherman's buffet #2 it has a very small entrance with cramped quarters, you can either have food to go, or eat the buffet. I chose the buffet I decided to forgo the drink for $1.85 and I just don't think that's worth it but the meal was definitely worth it, for less than $11.00 you can eat decent buffet especially when you're hungry. Surprisingly the ladies behind the counter were very friendly not all rude like other Asian buffets and very helpful. I asked for white rice instead of pork fried rice (the white rice is in the back) so they asked, "how much you want a lot a little? That was kind of funny I said, I don't know, enough to match my food" she thought that was funny too, so they bring another plate with white rice, and I proceeded to get my orange chicken, broccoli beef, you know, all the usual, it was all extremely good especially the deep fried string beans they were breaded panko style. I was a little disappointed they didn't have any soup as displayed on the window but that's OK I ate, and went for second nobody bothered me. People watched as they came in and ordered food to go. It was a nice dinner for one experience. Would I come here again? Definitely, if I'm craving cheap Chinese food. And what I mean by cheap is, inexpensive as far as the quality. I was OK with it.

Customer service was not nice no food for people that eat seafood. They were stingy on rice. Beef& broccoli the beef w so salty.

The food is really good. And the service is amazing. I love the ladies that work there, but usually a 3 item at other places doesn't include rice or chow mein. Also if you want say double of something..you can't. The only other ick is the buffet is where your food to go is served out of. I watched some guys reaching in and their sleeves were over the food that I was going to be ordering. I know the place is small, but getting to go food from a separate serving area would be more sanitary imo.

This place can be a hit or miss, but most of the time it's a hit. The food is good and they give you so much that they need to put a rubber band on it! However, there was nothing too special about the service nor ambiance.
