Shangri La

From the Yelp reviews, I didn't see too many people order chirashi at this restaurant so I decided to try it. I am so glad I did!It came out pretty quickly and the portion is so generous. The fresh thick slices of sashimi were more than enough to fill me up. The sushi rice was lightly seasoned and went well. At the end, I only ate about half the rice (because I usually eat smaller than average portions) and had to take a break before stuffing the last 3 pieces of sashimi in my stomach. The price was extra reasonable and certainly more than enough food for me. The agedashi tofu (not pictured) had more of a panko breading (instead of a light wet batter) and this made it a little heavier of a dish for me. My friends ordered a handroll, a bento box, and a singapore fried noodle. The singapore noodle was also gigantic and delicious, according to them. Overall this was a great place for a casual dinner. In this little town of Lodi, this was certainly a surprise find.

So for my nieces birthday we went here to celebrate, large group of about 24 people. It was a Friday night, but they let us make a reservation and sat everyone down quickly as they came in. With the amount of people in our group the service was on point! Quick to bring out the food, drinks, refills, anything we needed. The food was amazing, I had the teriyaki chicken bento box, so I got a little bit of everything, perfect amount of food and reasonably priced. Others had sushi rolls, the volcano roll was the favorite. Some had prawns, edamame, a little bit of everything. No one complained about their food, including the kids. Place has nice decor, full bar, and clean. Will definitely be back, and highly recommend. My 9 yr old niece told me "you need to give them a good review." And I sure am lol

I think for the price, this place is overall good.We ordered the honey walnut shrimp, chow fun, pan fried noodle, spicy tofu soup, chicken fried rice.It was for 5 of us. The pan fried was exactly what I envisioned. I thought the noodles would be dry and crunchy af with the gravy but it was soft. All good though, just a heads up, it was still good.Service was really nice and attentive. Also I like the spicy soup. It was actually spicy but just enough before it was overwhelming. It might be spicy for a lot of people (in this area) if ya catch my drift lmaooo. But if you can hang, try it because its delicious! And this is coming from someone who just recently started eating spicy!The ambiance is really nice too. They got projectors and TVs playing all kinds of sports and what not. There's a wider restaurant seating area and then there's a bar. Pretty big restaurant - didn't expect that.I'd say its worth bringing the family here if y'all are in Lodi craving some Asian!

Excellent food every time. Great Sushi They have everything you want. Services is always great, TV's to watch your games and excellent drinks.

We used to dine here pretty often many years ago, management fell off a bit then. After some downtown festivities we decided to grab a quick dinner. We can definitely do without the rolls, it was mediocre for both Dan Dan noodles was actually the hit!!! It was extremely delicious! Service and staff was attentive, they were busy but we had two young gentlemen check on us frequently. Restaurant is a bit dim.

I've been here many times and love the variety of the food for the price however today I was disappointed by the Teriyaki beef. It tasted purely of charcoal and was too chewy to swallow. We sent the dish back and went on to enjoy the rest of the meal. Until we received the bell and they refused to remove the price of the dish saying that we ate over 50% of the dish. However I took a picture of the dish before the meal and right before we sent it back and as you'll see we did not take over 50% of the plate. I was disappointed and will not be returning.

Nothing tasted fresh. Had better sushi at sprouts store Martini was straight running alcohol

Love me some Shangri La. This is my go to sushi spot. Whether it's dine in or a to go order they always make my food the best! I always get two spicy tuna hand rolls, and an order of the salmon nigiri and the hamachi nigiri with jalapeño. I also love love their key lime tini & all their other tinis are delicious as well (a bit strong but that's the point. You have one drink and you're good to go LOL.) I love the lighting in their I do prefer a darker ambient. I wish they played some light music though that would take the experience to another level. Regardless, I love it here.

Beautiful restaurant and the service was excellent. I really enjoyed the Mongolian beef bento box. I recommend the spicy edamame and tempura mix. Will be returning to try the rest of the menu and it looks like they have great drink selections and specials

Sushi was awful. They gave me completely different things than what I ordered. Worst sushi ever
