Seven Sisters

This review is a 4.4/5. Came here for my belated birthday dinner. Everyone was very nice and professional. We never had to ask for anything and we never had a plate in front of us that we were done with for more than a minute or two. The ambiance is cozy and warm, the seating is comfortable. It can get a little noisy when it's busy, but we could still hear just fine. We got the Brussels sprouts for a starter and if you haven't had them before, you must. They are 1000% worth it. Between the starter and main course they came by with a palate cleanser that was a very tart cranberry orange sorbet like bite. It was very sharp, but I enjoyed it. My dad and I got the maple chipotle pork chop. It comes with garlic mashed potatoes and roasted carrots. Divine. It was phenomenal. My mom got the filet with the potatoes, she ate it all and said it was great. Hubs got the wagyu burger. It was huge and very messy, but he said flavor wise it was different and very tasty. Only real complaint was the amount and quality of the shoestring fries that came with the burger. There was a mound... like too many. And they were very over done, pretty easy to do when they're so thin. Overall, this has always been a nice spot for a special occasion and this trip was no different. Would recommend!

On our way up to Pinecrest to celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary we stopped at Black Oak Casino to gamble since check it time for our AirBnB wasn't until 4pm Seven Sisters Restaurant, located on the third floor of the Black Oak Casino outside of Sonora, offers award-winning fine dining with top-notch service and tableside manner paying attention to even the unspoken details of guests along with offering a picturesque view of the Sierra Foothills.Seven Sisters uses only the finest ingredients for its menu items that rotate with the seasons. The restaurant menu is constantly adding specials to suit the seasons and item availability, including locally grown produce from an on-site vegetable garden.The menu is full of a variety of specialty fresh meat dishes and seafood selections that are flown in day-to-day. Sauces, breads and desserts are prepared as labors of love by the chefs on a daily basis.Seven Sisters, named after the matriarchs of the Tuolumne Me-Wuk Tribe, has a romantic and luxury ambiance that would be great for a special occasion or dinner date!We shared roasted brussel sprouts and a spring salad. Husband had a filet mignon and I had to the Corkshew Chicken Pesto Pasta! After a few drinks from the bar we ordered dessert and the waitress brought a surprise for our anniversary and the best crème brûlée!

Located inside the black oak casino on the third floor. I came in with a group of 7.We made dinner reservations. I recommend making reservations if you are interested in eating here. They seated us as soon as we arrived. Our waitress was amazing! She knew the menu like the back of her hand and let us know about their specials. She did a great job of checking on us throughout our visit. I ordered the seared scallops. It came with rice and asparagus. The presentation was fabulous. Everything was cooked perfectly which especially is a big deal for scallops. So delicious and seasoned perfectly. Everyone in our party loved their food. Not one complaint across the board! They ordered the crab carbonara, Atlantic salmon, orange duck, and millionaire Mac and cheese. FYI side salads are huge. The bread they brought before our meal was delicious too. My only complaint is I expected more from their cocktails. I ordered the pomegranate cosmopolitan and another in the party ordered a smoked old fashioned. For the smoked old fashioned it was lower tier quality wise compared to other ones I have had before. My cosmo I wish was more along with a traditional recipe and stronger or had a nicer presentation.This would have me more rate it 4.5 but I still am rounding up to 5 because everything else was so great.We leave very pleased! And definitely recommend going here if for a special occasion while in this area.

Last Saturday, 08 Jun2024, my husband I stopped by to check if we can eat here. True enough, John from the Front was kind enough to ask me how hungry I am. I said, 1 to 5, it is 3. John asked someone to sit us. Our server is Skyler or Sky. She was very nice and attentive. We truly enjoyed our dinner! Great food, great service! We will be back!

Seven sister is amazing! My friends and I were greeted right away. Super friendly staff & amazing service. Skylar was our server and she was very pleasant. Since it was our first time, she helped us navigate the menu as far as what items were popular, what were her favorites, and just made the experience a great first time visit! I've come here again since visiting. Keep it up Seven Sisters!

Another wonderful visit to Seven Sisters restaurant located in the Black Oak Casino. The food and service perfect! I enjoyed the Atlantic Salmon - cooked perfectly and with an amazing lemon dill sauce and a nice glass of Frank Family Cabernet. They are usually quite busy, so reservations are highly recommended. I was the first customer, they opened at 5PM. Seven Sisters is a must for nice dining in the Tuolumne area.

Seven sisters was delish. First I have to say I wish I would have gotten our servers name. She was amazing and she recommended cheaper/smaller portions that I didn't know was an option. I tend to order so many different things that it was obvious she needed to help me out lol. Second, the fried brussel sprouts were the best brussel sprouts I ever had. And I am a brussel sprouts fan all the way. They were so good! The bone marrow was surprising. It came with fry bread as well as carne asada. I have to give this a 3 out of 5. The bone marrow was good, but I don't think the fry bread pairs well. It's not delicate enough to eat with the bone marrow. It takes over and it's all you can taste. I mean fry bread is good, but just not with the bone marrow in myOpinion. The carne asada could have used some different seasoning or a sauce.The crab cakes were pretty good. Good sized, good sauce. I would have liked a more lemony sauce but I was just squeezing lemon on everything.I also had been craving artichokes, so I gave the tempura artichokes a try. It wasn't bad, but not what I was craving. It was too heavy when I was of course craving.... Light! My husband had a club sandwich that looked good. He said it was and the portion looked good as well. He only ate half because of all the apps I ordered. You think he'd be used to it by now! The brussel sprouts were more than enough to make me happy. Oh hubby did say his old fashion with knob creek was really good. Tomahawk for sure next time.

Came here last night and we don't regret it. First off, Tim was our server and that guy is a god damn firecracker! He's on it! You can tell he cares about his patrons. What a guy. He admitted he had a cup of the French press coffee lol, which by the way, was soooo gooodddd! It wired me the rest of the night too, Tim. :) You are a stellar lad! We appreciate your customer service, promptness, agility, and energy. Food: we got the wedge salad, Cesar, lemon chicken, and scallops. All made to perfection. Dessert: we had the apple bread pudding. Holy smokes it was heavenly. Crispy edges, moist bread, juicy juiciness, and creamy vanilla ice cream. Definitely will visit this place again. Thank you, Tim and staff :) Ambience: clean, dark and romantic, and spacious.
