We've been coming to Sender's for decades and this place has the BEST SANDWICHES I'VE EVER HAD. They have great customer service too. The employees are helpful and super friendly. It even has a connected hardware store. Where else can you get a bomb sandwich, a dozen eggs, and an 1100 gallon water tank all at the same time? We will continue coming to Sender's for years to come.

Sender's is a local gem, supporting our rural community with everything you need to built a house or host a killer BBQ. Ridiculously great wine & beer selection, and oh the bacon! Thankful everyday for the efforts to save this place from the Butte Fire in 2015.

My favorite supermarket when I'm staying in the area. They have everything here. They make sandwiches, ready hot food and good choice of butchered meet. Just yesterday I found out they had an Asian section. I was coming here almost every other day in the past week and the week before. Yesterday I ordered a half trI-tip sandwich. I didn't care much for it at all. Tri-tip was very bland and the Dutch Crunch was soggy. The kind woman who served me, was so helpful. She was elaborate about their daily specials. Forgot her name, but very friendly. The reason why they get 4 stars, due to customer service and cleanliness. They are very welcoming in this small town, where everyone seem to know one another. The ladies taking the order for the sandwiches, ladies who are working the floor, and gentlemen working the register are all friendly and helpful. Had a chance to talk to the owner yesterday about the vodka we were buyIng. He was very kind. It's worth the extra few miles of driving to thIs store instead of Treats! Also the blunder bar is close.

Truly outstanding! They have awesome people who work here! Also, they have a really good sandwhich! So, I came here for the first time the other day. It's in the middle of nowhere. I mean NOWHERE! I was lost and had to meet some people. I didn't have reception, so I asked if they have a payphone. They said "no, but you can use our phone." Wow, who does that? Then when I wasn't able to contact anyone, they mentioned for me to use their wifi to get a hold of my contact through other means. Good looking out! A couple of days later, I bought a sandwhich. The girl behind the counter was super helpful and friendly. I wanted half of the Italian something, can't remember what it was called. She warned me that the sandwich would be extremely small, because of the bread. She mentioned that I can switch for a different one, like the French bread. So I did. That sandwich is sooo good! It's a little pricey, but we'll worth it. I bought a full one two days later, yummm! I can't even explain what they put in it. The only thing I know was usual meat, lettuce, peppers and tomato. Everything else was a mystery to me. That will be one sandwhich that I will have dreams about, when I'm gone from this town. That same day, but in the afternoon, I went back to that store. I went to buy a Mexican Sprite (they use sugar Cain in their soda, instead of refined sugars). I was waiting in line for a couple of minutes, but the guy who was bagging saw me and said he would take me to the other counter. He was super quick about it, so he could tend to the other guy who he was helping. After he tended to me, he went and finished bagging the other persons stuff, and I asked if he had a bottle opener. He went in his pocket and opened the bottle for me. That guy was definitely on point. The customer service here is one of the best that I've seen at a market ever! Thanks for making my experience in mountain ranch that much more welcoming.

I'm just home from shopping at my local grocery store. After thoroughly washing, I thought it might be helpful to warn others about the decision by Senders Mkt. to NOT enforce or even suggest people wearing masks OR distancing in their store. When I asked the clerk why no masks, he simply grunted something incoherent and went about rudely throwing my groceries in a bag. Oh, he did stop to yell hello to another customer that wasn't wearing a mask. 2 people shopping in the store had a mask on, one was me, the other had the mask hanging off one ear..! So when I asked the clerk if Covid had gone away he glowered at me. Really! We've been shopping here for 2 generations, my Mother is 82 and has Cancer (she wears a mask to protect others) how can this be SO hard? I wear one in the Medical Facility that I work at. I don't care about Newsom or any other politician or their views about this topic; I do care about my health and families. I do know what this virus can do and has done, I care for elderly people. I would expect a higher standard from the Senders family, this is your community too!

At Sender's market you will find the heartbeat of the Mountain Ranch community. Even before the Butte fire this was a tightknit community and area. After the fire it is even more so. Check out the photos of all the bulletin boards hung out front of the store to either offer aid to fire victims or for fire victims to post their needs and wants. The outpouring of help from those that survived the fire and all the involved agencies is incredible.Sender's is a one-stop shop for the area. Everything from groceries to fresh fruits and vegetables to barbed wire and electrical poles...they have it all. And they have competent employees to help you, too. Over the last 50 or so years Sender's has been the last stop for food and supplies for us on the way to the cabin. Now they are aiding in our recovery process by building a new power pole to replace the one that was burned. If you are in the area, stop by. I think you will be impressed by this community general store. Thank you Sender's for being there throughout the years and especially during this disaster.

We were up there in Mountain Ranch to look at some family-owned property. We needed to eat, and we believe in supporting local businesses read (mom-n-pop) so we went to Sender's.We bought a full and half Sender's Club and we were not disappointed. Good luck getting your mouth open wide enough to take a bite. Top notch meats and everything else you want in a sandwich. Damn, it was good. Had a small picnic in my truck in the shade of a pine tree that escaped the fire. Well worth the price.

Where the heck is Mountain Ranch?Heading up the back way to our place, along this bumpy road that my wife would never take her Camaro, is Mountain Ranch. Going up the front way is even worse.Sender's is just another excuse to head up to the mountains. It reminds me of my uncle's old grocery store in Sausalito. the only difference is there's a hardware store and lumber yard attached. At first, we'd stop in for sandwiches on our way up to go shooting guns at the junk that gets dumped. The Yardboy is my favorite and I don't think they named it after the kid in the lumber yard that lost his finger in the saw. We found out that their meat prices are really decent and the meat is excellent. It's amazing that a place out in god's country is better and cheaper than the junk to get in the bay area. Now, whenever we go up there, we bring the shopping list and stock up for several weeks. Just like we expect to do when we move up there. On second thought, this place is really bad. If fact, this whole area is really bad. Especially if you're from the Bay Area. Don't come up here. you won't like it. Go to Arnold instead.
