I contacted Darren as a referral given to me, I wish I could say am happy with his services, unfortunately am not. The work his employee did has a lot to desire, left all the garbage behind, broken cement in my recycle container and on top of everything all the left over cement was washed on my lemon tree!!! $$$2500.00 dollars later, you would think that garbage and debris removal would be included. I was only replacing a skimmer, when asked for the return line replacement wanted more $$$$$$. Very unprofessional workmanship.

These guys really helped me out of a bind, and for a reasonable price. I had a large underground pool plumbing leak develop pretty quickly. The pool was losing water and since the leak was in a suction line, I couldn't run the pump. All that during a round of below freezing temperatures overnight.They found the leak on one Monday and were out to fix it the next Monday. Concrete poured and cured over the repair by the time I got home from work on Tuesday. They even managed to do this with both of my rambunctious dogs in the yard. The repair looks great, my pool is clean (they went above and beyond and got all the leaves and sticks out), and it will stay that way since the plumbing works again. Very satisfied.

We have a leak in our pool and spa, and Darren and his team came out twice to do the detection. After the second visit he told us that he would send us a report and estimate for repairs. A month later, and after MULTIPLE calls, voicemails, and emails to Darren and his company, we have had NO response. We now find ourselves having to start over (and pay again) with another leak detection company. Not sure why they dropped off the face of the earth, but this is among the most unprofessional behavior we have ever had with a vendor.

I had several repairs and improvements done in the last couple of weeks by Darren & crew (relocate pool equipment, insall new controller, pump and filter, re-do return lines, exchange a few bad solar panels, and more). Extremely knowledgeable, timely, efficient. these guys know this business inside out -- highly recommended. It's a family business, and Robin, who runs the back office operations, was extremely effective in coordinations and communications, as necessary. Thanks Second Generation Pools.

We called 2nd Generation after it was recommended to us. They told us they'd be out the next day - needless to say, they were NO-SHOWS. We called approximately 6-times after this begging their help - we told them the pool was new and we URGENTLY needed their assistance. Then, we finally started leaving them messages to just let us know "if they were unable to come out so that we could get someone else." Again, NO CALLS. This sort of complete lack of respect for customers tells me volumes about their ethics and professionalism.
