Great experience! The deckhands were very helpful and highly skilled at untangling lines. They are very efficient and managed to support everyone with minimal downtime.

Seawolf is one of the best charters out there according to my friends who go on many charters. They were even featured on an episode of Fisherman's Life! Why? I found that out for myself one Sunday morning.Got to the Emeryville docks at 4:30am for the 5:30am departure. Everyone on the charter was very friendly and willing to share their tips and thoughts on charters and the rockfish we were about to go out and catch.The ride takes you two hours out to sea past the GGB near the Faralon Islands where the awesome deckhands will take you to catch sanddabs first as bait for lingcod. I was able to hook up on some lings with the help of a very experienced friend but set my drag a bit too tight and lost the beast. We moved onto rockfish and easily caught limit with the help of great gear, great location, and great knowledge, all of which, you get from being on an awesome charter!Not only does the Seawolf crew know the best places to fish but they're also extremely friendly and helpful. They make rounds to check to make sure all of the patrons are well taken care of by helping untangle lines, offering to help tie lines on your behalf, going around and gaffing fish as they see you need help! Such an awesome crew.If you want a charter that will take care of you and get you to your limit of fish and leave you feeling taken care of, take the Seawolf out.

First time out with Sea Wolf.Was greeted by deckhand Darrin. Picked my spot. Checked in and entered jackpot (didn't win).Full boat. We headed out to the islands Fished south side. I didn't catch, guy on bow caught a ling. That was it for first drift. The captain moved us to another spot. Guys were slaying lings. I didn't know that the objective for the first spots were to target ling. I was set up for rock Lings slowed, so we moved north of the main island. Spotty fishing. At 1 I only had 2 in the bag Captain moved us again. This moved paid off.Fish were flying over the rail. The deck hands were running around the boat unhooking fish and tangles. By 1:45 I had 14 in the bag. Time to head home.Deckhands did a great job of filleting the fish.Now I know why people love going on the boat. Not the fastest boat I've been on, but the captain and crew are fantastic.

Sea wolf put you on big fish. I had a blast pulling out Big lingcods. Make sure you take the motion sickness pill before you get on the boat, if you don't have your sea legs yet.

On Nov 12, 2021 my husband and I booked a trip on the Sea Wolf, we caught limits og Rock fish and Lingcod. Kudos to Captain Jon, deckhands Darren and Joe, this guys work hard so don't forget to give them a nice tip. Sea Wolf is the best give them a try I promise you won't be disappointed. We've fished on this boat for 6 years now and chartered it for 4. Jon and his crew always provide us with great service even though they're usually on few hours of sleep. We always come home with our limits in rock fish and crab. My friends and family enjoy it so much I was able to get 24 people to pay within 3 hours of sending out the email notification. There really is no other boat I'd rather be on.

Went out on what I thought was a basic fishing trip with our supplier WHCI and Takagi.Well it started early, but it was a quiet summer morning in the bay. There was about 20 of us on the Sea Wolf and we are about to leave the emeryville marina.From what I was told it was goina be a bay trip, but captian John had other intentions. He putted us all the way up the coast to southern point reys. Cool.Then we putted all the way back striper fishing by the gate and alcatraz. No one went home empty handed. We all had a blast with captian John and Ryan.Most definitely will do this again soon.Thanks for a great time on your boat.

Great captain (Jon) and crew (Ryan)! These two have provided quality fishing trips for me in the last two years. Both guys are very helpful and will make your experience on the ocean or bay a memorable one. Ryan gives a early orientation to prep you for the day. Throughout the day, Ryan and Jon will support you with any help you need as long as you give them a nice holler (the boat can be so busy with either tangles, a fish to net, or anything else you can think of!). Fishing is fun with this crew. Give these guys a try and you won't be disappointed!

Great experience. We had ample time to fish and deck hands were great. Captain got on the boat well before scheduled departure (6:00 am) and we left the dock at 5:30 when all who signed up were aboard. We fished until 4:20 pm which gave us time to score limits of halibut for all 15 anglers. We got back to the dock around 6:00 pm. This was a revelation to me because I'm used to the captain showing up at the departure time and calling it so that we would be back at the dock at 4:00 pm. As stated, the captain and crew were very generous with their time.

I took a day trip with a couple of buddies to the Farallon Islands. Best rockfish charter I have been on. Deckhands were super friendly and helpful. Captain new exactly what he was doing and put us on the fish all day. Even in rough conditions, the captain was able to keep our lines straight. I limited out within the first hour. I will be fishing with the Sea Wolf from here on out. Would absolutely recommend for big lingcod and quality rockfish.
