These guys are great! Soooooo many appliances in stock. It has to be one of the best selections in Stockton. Lowes, Home Depot etc... NEVER have anything in stock and you're going to wait a week or more for delivery. I was washing clothes in my new washing machine less than two hours after first walking in the place. Reasonable prices and delivery charges. Quick and friendly.

Buyer beware.7 months ago, I bought a washer and dryer and paid cash. Who would have thought I needed to replace both appliances this week. They offer a small warranty, and as usual, once the warranty expires, so did both appliances. Spend the extra money for extended warranties when offered.

I am writing this review to inform people so they aren't taken advantage and strung along like we were for nearly a month. We contacted the owner MANNY in the middle of November to fix our Samsung washer that would only turn on sometimes. He first showed up to look at our washer on Nov. 20. Keep in mind that he was supposed to arrive during a certain time frame and didn't even contact us until after that time frame has already passed. Despite what we told him he continued to dismiss it as a smaller problem than what we explained. He told us he hard reset it (I don't think that's truthful) and suggested if it happens again to call him back. Still took our $65 even tho he literally did NOTHING. Low and behold, the same day the same exact thing is happening AKA the washer isn't fixed and still giving us the same problems as before. So not only did we have to already wait days for him to show up and look at it in the first place, we had to wait even longer for him to show back up again to pick it up.. which was already weird because why did he need to take the washer away to change the mother board? I don't know anything about washers but anyone I talk to says that doesn't sound right. He finally picks the washer up again (this is sometime around thanksgiving) and returns it on November 29th. Guess what?! the washer was still doing the same thing.So what does he do? Says he'll pick up our washer to "fix" it... again. He argued with us that it's an electrical problem with our home and suggest we plug in a bunch of different stuff to the outlet the washer plugs into (during the times it's not working) to make sure it's not an electrical problem. So we did, and EVERY SINGLE THING WORKED (besides the washer). There was no electrical problem. So, he eventually takes our washer and loaned us a smaller older model to use for now "to make sure it's not an electrical problem" even though we already distinguished that. In reality, he gave us the loaner to shut us up for the meantime bc he actually STILL couldn't figure out what's wrong with our washer (keep reading to see how we figured this out). In case you're having trouble following, this would be our 3rd interaction with the owner Manny. I could have respected someone being real and saying "I can't figure it out" but he just strung us along for a month. After one week of using the loaner and no call back from manny about the status of our actual washer guess what happens? THE LOANER HE GIVES US STARTS LEAKING ALL OVER OUR GARAGE. LIKE GALLONS OF WATER AT A TIME. So keep in mind, during our 4th interaction with him he is coming over to fix THE LOANER HE GAVE US and still didn't mention a word about OUR ACTUAL washer that he is supposed to be fixing. WELL, GUESS WHAT?! After he fixed the broken hose on the loaner it broke again, like literally minutes after he left. So we call him and tell him what's going on and he tells us how we can fix it by unscrewing and removing the entire back of the washer and reconnect the hose... I'm pretty sure I don't need to explain why that is ridiculous and anyone reading this (besides Manny) would understand. Finally, we ask him where our actual washer is and he says he's still trying to figure it out aka that's the reason he gave us the loaner. At this point, I stopped keeping track of the days just know this process was about a month long with TERRIBLE communication if any at all. We called and demanded our washer back, he said he would return it that day, HE DID NOT. He called us just a few minutes before showing up the NEXT day. And guess what... the washer still didn't work and was doing the same exact thing after him having our washer for a month and $400 later. Keep in mind, he is doing this to us during both Christmas and thanksgiving. Thankfully we have the means to go to the laundry mat but it really makes my blood boil thinking about someone less fortunate being in this same situation ESPECIALLY during the holidays. Moral of the story: manny had our washer for about a month and couldn't figure out the problem. He constantly blamed it on an electrical, and failed to let us know the status of our actual washer on more than one occasion. I would not recommend business with this establishment for their lack of communication and professionalism.

Do not buy from Scratch and Dent Appliances! I purchased a freezer from here in January 2022, and it was not cooling. It took days for them to come out, and they acted like I was doing something wrong. They finally came out and added Freon. Guess what? After four months, the freezer stopped cooling again, and they wanted to charge me $120 to look at what should have been fixed from the beginning. I would have had no faith in their repairs if they had come out. When I bought the freezer, I was desperate and had faith that they were an honest business. I ended up buying a new freezer from Center Appliance in Manteca. This company sells garbage, and of course, they do not stand behind it!
