When you think of hidden gems, Sammy's Bar & Grill at Orlando's Market Escalon should absolutely top your list! Nestled inside this charming market behind an overpriced gas station (go to Arco), it delivers on every front--service, ambiance, and food--earning a solid place as one of my all-time favorite roadtrip pitstops.First of all, the service was impeccable. Despite having just indulged in a hefty Friendsgiving meal, the staff's warm and inviting demeanor convinced me to order something.. They genuinely care about their guests and it shows!The ambiance here strikes the perfect balance between cozy and modern. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite, bringing the family, or looking for a relaxed spot to sip on a cocktail or beer while watching some Sunday NFL action, Sammy's has you covered. With a nice cozy outdoor patio, and a bright interior food court-style seating, it's the kind of place where you instantly feel at homeNow, let's talk food. Their menu is nothing short of impressive--offering mouthwatering burgers and sandwiches, quality deli meats and cheeses, and even a standout kids/snack/"small bites" menu. I went for the chicken sandwich, and let me just say, move over, Chick-fil-A. The crispy fried chicken patty was perfection, paired with pickles, mayo, and the melty goodness of pepper jack cheese. And the fries? Golden, crispy, and served with ranch and ketchup--simple, yet executed flawlesslyThe bar selection is just as noteworthy. With a comprehensive beer lineup on tap and a cocktail menu filled with diverse options, you'll find something to pair perfectly with your meal or snackIf you're passing through, do yourself a favor and stop by Sammy's. It's rare to find a place that nails everything this well. Trust me, I'll be back every single time I'm in the area!

Food is good! $24 for a turkey club was pretty steep I thought. Would like to frequent more but the prices...Ooof!

We literally have been by this location 20 times and never knew it was inside the grocery store. Nice little patio out front limited seating inside, but very good food with wonderful customer service. My wife and I shared a pulled pork sandwich at the recommendation of the manager who was at the counter. It was very tasty and plenty to eat for the two of us. We got the combo which came with a drink and wonderful fries. We had a nice meal and plan to come back soon.

Delicious fresh food. Lots of great options to choose from. Easy to order from kiosk. Indoor / outdoor seating, friendly folk!

We stopped in Sammy's Bar and Grill on the way home from the mountains and had a delicious meal. I can't speak highly enough for the staff. Excellent service, friendly and responsive. I had left behind my jacket and the manager and staff were incredibly kind, thoughtful and helpful in mailing it back to me because I lived 90 min away. They did it without even charging a mailing or labor fee. I am planning on finding a way to reimburse the person responsible. I can't thank them enough. The jacket holds a lot of sentimental value and I really like it.

Super clean, nice staff. No tip required. We've never had a bad meal here. Ice cold mugs of beer, signature cocktails too. Like a speakeasy, it's in a grocery market!
