Salt & Pepper

So, IYDKNYK that I only give a 5-star rating when the bathroom is clean because I feel it reflects how clean they may keep their kitchen (and their bathroom didn't disappoint). On to their food. A casual atmosphere with friendly staff. Order your food, sit where you like, then wait for them to bring you your tasty meal. I opted to try tacos filled with Al Pastor, Carne Asada, & Carnitas, in addition to trying their refried beans & rice (see pic). They had me at homemade tortillas! The meat was as lean as you'd want but not dry. The b&r had flavor but went too salty. The cost was better than expected.

Birria pizza is good. Not consistent though. Service was ok, the guy working was just kinda not in the mood. The place was empty when we visited but nice space and kinda doesn't fit the feel of Mexican type or style. It's just kinda blah. Agua Fresca are also great!

Wow-this place is a gem! They have handmade tortillas that were fantastic. We ordered the Carne Asada fries, shrimp taco, and the quesabirria tacos. Delicious!!! we were driving from LA to San Francisco and wanted somewhere yummy. To this city boy, this place is in the middle of nowhere. It's 10 minutes off of the freeway, but it is so worth the extra time. Give this place your business and enjoy the food!

I've never really been to Patterson before but this restaurant is A-1. I found it on Yelp and wanted to give it a try. No regrets! I got the super burrito with Pastor and it was to die for. I can't lie, I was very surprised but you can't judge a small city until you visit. The burrito was one of the tastiest burritos I've ever had. The workers were so friendly and made sure we were taken care of. The inside is average size for there's plenty of space to sit but parking is usually on the street.

Driving to SoCal and rather than stopping at a fast food joint, we decided to look up some good Mexican food. We found this gem!! Not exactly off the freeway, but totally worth it!!!!! The menu is elegant, with lots of your typical dishes to choose from: burritos, tacos, tortas, etc. What stood out for me is that they have keto options. You can get tacos with a fried cheese shell!!! Or lettuce wrapped. The hubby decided to get chilaquiles and I got the taco salad. We both opted for carnitas. Let me tell you! Not only were they beautifully plated, they were DELICIOUS!!! So good! Fresh ingredients and they do not skimp. Carnitas was fried to perfection. Taco shell was crispy. Rice was flavorful. Beans were good. Everything was just chef's kiss!They had 3 aguas frescas to choose from: hibiscus, horchata, and pineapple. I'm not a horchata fan but dang! That was good. It was not a mix. It was real. Service was easy. They hand you a menu and you can sit while you decide, but you do have to walk up to order. The person who helped us was professional and friendly. We placed our order and the food came out after a short wait. The restaurant was clean and roomy. There were a few tables to sit at. The decor is contemporary and hipster home. I felt like I was at someone's house. You bus your own table. I'm fine with that because they use real dishes and silverware vs polluting the earth. Thank you for that!Price was on point. Free drink with check in. Yelpers... you gotta come and check this place out!

I enjoyed the food! For the area, it's not bad - can't compare with San Diego tacos though

Called in my lunch order as we were picking up our car from a shop nearby. I STILL LOVE Salt & Pepper and eat here a few times a month. Normally it's Alex or Jessica at the counter, as always excellent customer service. At this point, they feel like old friends. Quality ingredients that meld together for amazing flavors. Still ordering my favorite CA burrito no pico and the lulu tacos for my husband. He LOVES their green salsa. Great flavor but a little too much heat for me. I jokingly say Salt & Pepper is top 5 death row last meal options for me. I occasionally order something else, it's all been great but the CA burrito has a hold on me. Thank you S & P for making my day!

Very authentic Mexican food. It's a walk up and order place, and pick up at the register when you're food is ready. Plenty of seating. I had Chile relleno with Tomatillo salsa, rice and beans with great home made tortillas. Excellent. I'd go back to try other things. Service is not expected.

Great food, amazing Taste can't wait to go back. The tortillas are hand made. And the keto tacos are good too

I don't usually do yelp reviews but I just had to do this one. Came here with 6 of my friends and the food did not disappoint!! So tasty and portions were great!! 10/10 recommend this place.
