We recently used Olivia and her team for an office welcome brunch and they did great! From their communication, office walkthrough, and the event itself, everything went smoothly. The food and set up was amazing! Our team loved it. We'd definitely book them for future events!

We ordered food for about 100 guests in early March. Our guests loved the quality of the food. They brought fruit, chia yogurt parfaits, and quiche. Their coffee and chai latte were exceptional!

Very easy to work with. Great ideas based on my vision. They made my life so much easier. They were super flexible and allowed me to put together event that I wanted without being an impediment. The day-of the event -- outdoor party -- the team was amazing! I felt so taken care of and I was able to be present at the party and with my guests, and that is EVERYTHING for me, as I'm a huge perfectionist. But their judgement and professionalism was top notch. Oh, and their table set-up...just beautiful...perfect. I didn't provide a lot of guidance and they hit it out of the park. Highly recommended. I will definitely work with Salt & Honey again.

We were really hopeful about Salt and Honey for our wedding of 68 in my parents' backyard. From the first meeting Olivia (the owner) answered all our questions and created a menu that was farm to table with local fresh ingredients which we wanted. She ensured us that her and her team had ample experience with receptions in private homes. After we signed the contract with Olivia things changed.A few months before the wedding we had another in person meeting with the new FOH manager at my parents' property, Jessica (who we love.) Unfortunately she didn't have a lot of the correct information from Olivia on what the company could and couldn't provide. A week before the wedding, there were numerous email threads where Olivia had no idea about items needed for the wedding, such as asking for a tent rental for BOH and talking about flipping the ceremony and reception space cocktail hour items when there was only 1 location. She also asked for hundreds of dollars more in event rentals days before the wedding (which we ended up not needing most of it) and stood up our planner for meetings. It was an incredible amount of undue stress days before the wedding for us, my parents, and our wedding planner.The day of, none of the food was served hot. When we told Jessica (as Olivia wouldn't speak to us directly), she said that she was sorry and dishes could be reheated. That said, the servers were attentive and the settings for the cocktail hour were beautiful. Olivia showed up to the wedding the day of and told our planner she wanted to give my husband and I our meals separately (never did) and also got into an argument with my planner and her assistant over the service. This resulted in her shutting the door in my wedding assistant's face. I do not understand how someone providing a service could be so blatantly disrespectful. Following the day, Olivia ended up apologizing via email and giving us money back for the food which was greatly appreciated. That said, it really doesn't make up for the fact that our wedding was significantly negatively impacted because of the food and service, including so much unnecessary stress for us, my family, and our planner. Based on our experience, I would never recommend this company for your event.

My company hired S&H Catering for two of my work events. We hired them for breakfast, hors d'oeuvres and bartending services. In our most recent event, we ordered boxed meals for 200 guests. The S&H crew arrived on time and displayed everything flawlessly! Olivia, Isabella and Linnet are great!We received positive feedback on the quality of the food and service! Our guests enjoyed their vegan and vegetarian options. We're planning to have them cater our next event in November 2023, but we're ordering lunch this time.

Fantastic service, very prompt and delicious food options. They were able to cater at such short notice, Will certainly be using them again!

Olivia and her team did a wonderful event at the San Leandro Dahlia show this weekend.The food was amazing! They took care of all dietary needs gluten free to vegan menu. would recommend ! looking forward to using them again

I have had the pleasure of working with Salt & Honey for over three years providing us with catering service for 60 + person corporate lunch ( family/buffet style). Dinners with delicious desserts, appetizers and good vegetarian options for our board members. Did I mentioned that we never have leftovers? well that can tell you how delicious the food is. They drop off always on time with a beautiful full setup or disposable trays. Punctuality, presentation, flavor along with the customer service goes beyond expectation. I am very satisfied with Salt&Honey service provide to ThredUP. I been helped by Olivia and Isabella amazing communication answering every single question I may have.

We used Salt and Honey for our baby shower and they were truly amazing! Incredibly organized and communicative, and the food was delicious! The staff was so warm and friendly, and truly went above and beyond to make my shower special. Will for sure be using them for any future event!

I worked with Salt & Honey on something pretty last minute (we had just 2-3 weeks). Not only was the food beautiful (we did a grazing board and people just raved about it) and tasty and the service wonderful, but the team was incredibly patient with how last minute things were. I'm sure I was making them bananas, but they took everything in stride and it all went off without a hitch.
