Salida Donuts

The donuts are yummy and the customer service is very great. This family run business is worth visiting and satisfying your sweet tooth with.

Today was our first time stopping here since it changed ownership. We ordered a breakfast croissant and 3 donuts. OMG the breakfast croissant was delicious and very big! My husband and I shared it and we were both full. Then we just took a few bites of our buttermilk bar. So delicious, light and crispy!

The doughnuts here are so good! I'll definitely be back and let my family know about this place.

We've been coming to this donut shop for several years. The owner makes the donuts fresh each day! The donuts are always so delicious! She takes cash or credit- extra $0.50 if you use card. The parking lot can get busy & you can always find parking if you go down the street a bit more. She sells what she makes for the day and doesn't make extras. So get there early if you want certain kinds of donuts because she sells out quick on the weekend. Usually if I order for my job-about 4 dozen- I'll call her ahead of time and let her know and pay a day before I pick up the donuts.

Oooommmmgggggg - Mochi Donuts are amazing!!!The young ladies are sooooo sweet and friendly!!Only downfall - only avail on weekends!!

I must say..... I am very glad that the Central Valley has now acquired MOCHI DONUTS!!!! If that doesn't get one hyped then you are definitely missing out on a hot food item.Mochi donuts are not your typical donuts. They're these ring-shaped donuts made with rice or tapioca flour creating a bouncy, chewy texture topped with a nice sugar glaze in a variety of flavors. In addition, the shape makes it easy to pull apart and consume just like your normal donut hole! Salida Donuts have been advertising off their new item since mid-November and I was lucky enough to try it during their soft opening. I came in and was immediately greeted by I assume the owner? A young woman who was very nice and allowed me to try a full sample of their donut! I totally forgot the name but it was already delicious with a great texture that reminded me of the mochi donuts you can grab in the Bay Area. Unfortunately, during the time I came there were not much flavors left and therefore, the owner told me it was best to order off of their website to reserve.Utilizing their website was a breeze and super simple. I ordered two dozen mochi donuts and tried basically every flavor they had at the time of their disposal. Note that these donuts are not cheap. One dozen costs you $25, but to be honest that's pretty standard pricing for these and well worth it. In total I only waited about 30 minutes for a fresh batch to come out. I came back into the store and she already knew my name (from ordering online) and brought out my order immediately. Drove back home to try and each flavor was honestly very delicious! Super bouncy, glutinous, great flavors from each of the donuts. My personal favorite was the lychee, which reminded me of those "Asian jelly" in those animal containers. Every single flavor was planned out very well and had great presentation. I can tell this is a shop that's love what they do. I hear they change their mochi flavors consistently. May I suggest.... more Asian-inspired flavors eg. Thai Tea, Taro, Jasmine Tea, Matcha, Black Sesame? Can't wait to see what else they have in store!

Donuts were yummy and had good flavor without being too heavy. Will need to go back to try the mochi cupcakes.

The best donuts I've ever had! Everyone is also SUPER nice. The inside of the shop is always so clean and very organized. I hope they continue to do well!

Always slow service (only 1 staff member) and very low on donuts if you don't get there before 8am. Seems
