People misunderstand the lack of english the servers speak and take it to heart when they don't meet their American expectations, when in reality this is one of the absolute best pho places in modesto for the price as well. I read a lot of 1 star comments on this place and it hurts me because I live next to this place and I have loved this pho place for almost 2 years. They are quiet and keep to themselves but if you have the balls to speak up and ask for extra lemons or sauce they will gladly bring it. The service is extremely quick and my personal favorite is the avacoda shake and pho order number 2. Don't be scared and try some of their delicious food.

The service here is terrible. The waiter lacked any enthusiasm, he didn't even smile. He barely opened his mouth, and it was like he was whispering to us. We had to ask him numerous times to repeat what he was saying. It was extremely awkward how he would mumble. I felt uncomfortable. Plus, the owner, I believe, wasn't any better. He also had frowns etched into his features. We felt very unwelcomed. The atmosphere was off, and the food was also less than satisfactory. We wanted to order pearls with our drinks, but they ran out. At first, that was okay, but it really ticked us off when we wanted to order banh mi to go, only for them to say that they were out of bread too. I was EXTREMELY disappointed. Also, they made a mistake with our order by preparing a chicken soup instead of a spicy beef and pork soup (which was also unpleasant). Don't go here.

Picked up to-go PHO for the 1st time. Place was clean and welcoming. So far, this one has the best seafood pho in all of Modesto, IMO. We will be back.

The customer service was horrible! The host sat us down at a table, even though there were booths available, he didn't offer that. He just sat us down. My friend flagged down the waiter to order an appetizer. He said we are busy, ok?! So he didn't even take a drink order, or her request for an appetizer. When he finally came back, she ordered short ribs, shrimp spring rolls with peanut sauce, and chicken wings. She also ordered chicken and pork pho. I posted photos of all the items.The waiter must not have understood that my friend ordered short ribs, because he came to ask if calamari was ok. She tried to explain to him that she had not ordered calamari. He said they already made it, is that ok? Ummm...no! That was not what she ordered. So, the appetizer (short ribs) came out last. There was a definite language barrier, we had a hard time understanding the waiter, and he apparently did not understand us. The ambiance is nothing special. My friend remarked at how she likes the asymmetrical artwork, because their paintings are all crooked.I was not impressed, I wasn't eating. I just tagged along with my friend. However, I tried a few of the sauces and they did not taste good. I did not like the taste of the peanut sauce or the sauce that came with the chicken wings. They were just not good.What pissed me off the most was the way they treated my friend. She tends to not let things like that bother her, but it upset me. He kept freaking out when she was ordering a bunch of food. Especially when she ordered take out for her daughter. They acted like we weren't going to pay or something. They asked if it was a split check or not. I'm not quite sure why, we could have asked for a split check if we wanted.

Came here for the first time with some friends. Food was delicious but customer service was horrible. Worst experience I have had in a restaurant setting. We were waiting on two more friends to join us when our server showed up and said he needed to take our order as it was the last order he was going to take. It was 7:45pm and restaurant closes at 9pm. We placed the order for us and our friends. Our food arrived quickly and had no complaints as it was delicious. After about 20 minutes our server came back and brought our check and asked us if we needed to go boxes. We told him we were still eating and enjoying ourselves. He still came back and brought to go boxes. Shortly after he asked us if we were done with our pho since we were eating our other food. He then proceeded to pack it for us. We told him we weren't done eating and he ignored us. Before 9pm this man had all our food bagged and telling us he was closing the restaurant. We payed and left. Maybe next time we'll order our food to go and eat at our pace and not have someone rushing us out.

Lucky to have this place close to home. We usually go with the chicken chow mein, pork fried rice, and won ton soup. Great food! We had a bad experience with dining in, so we only get our food to go now.

Have been coming here for 4 plus years, and let me just tell you their vermicelli plates are my favorite and the taste has been consistently delicious! One thing to note is that their menu has changed so i have attached new menu. Would recommend take out over dine in because service can lack from time to time but dont let that discourage you from trying their food!

I had the worst experience ever. I felt discriminated against! Stereotype! As we placed our orders we we denied or should I say, limited what we could order and the amount of food we could order. I was told by the owner that we could not get any soda. And the only thing we could order was a side dish. And only one. Please don't go there and get tired like shit.

Great food lot's of plates to choose from i recomend this place costomer service could be better but they ok
