Reached out to Sabores Catering to cater our Christmas Eve dinner for a party of 10. Kathy responded right away and sent me a very reasonable quote once we settled on the menu. We ordered Bacalhau de Natas, Sabores Chicken, Madeira Pork loin, rice pilaf, garlic potatoes, green beans with linguiça and caldo verde. Kathy drove over 25 miles to deliver the food at no extra cost. The food was warm and ready to be eaten upon arrival. She even brought yummy arroz doce as a treat which was such a nice gesture and greatly appreciated. The food was truly DELICIOUS!! The caldo verde was AMAZING and just like my Grandmother used to make. There was so much food, we've had leftovers for a few days! We will certainly order from Sabores again. Kathy is very friendly, easy to communicate with and an amazing cook! Thank you for making our Christmas Eve dinner stress free!

This is a wonderful family run catering business that will knock your socks off! Kathy, her husband and mother catered our Celebration of Life held for our Mom, Joyce Mary Boyd Halvorsen, two weeks ago in Ripon, California. They were amazing! The feasting table was a beautiful arrangement of delicious meats, cheeses, Portuguese sweet breads, crackers, dips, olives, pickles, and sandwiches. They were so friendly and super efficient. I came across Sabores by googling "Portuguese catering," as we were throwing an 80th birthday party for my very Portuguese dad and all of his Portuguese friends. As it turned out, Sabores knew my parents because they go to the same church, which, to me, worked out even better because I was happy to give my business to people my parents already knew. I went back and forth with Kathy (who was in Brazil and still corresponding with me) to get the perfect menu and perfect it was! We ordered the Bacalhau de Natas, the Madeira pork loin and a salad. We ordered for 35 but ended up with about 40 and there was enough for everyone and we still had some leftovers, which made me very happy because I get to eat this for a few days! I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them for anyone needing catering, not even just for Portuguese food (but Portuguese food is the best so why bother with anything else?).

I contacted This catering service for my husband's memorial service and I am very impressed with the presentation of the food and the staff. They were ready to serve us but bec of the placement of the buffet table, we decided we will just let everyone get their own food. The 3 staff were nicely dressed, very presentable and ready to assist our guest. The food was great, we decided with chicken piccata, rice pilaf and green beans and rolls. Drinks are included as well. Overall, I am very satisfied and I highly recommend this catering service. Oh and they have extra containers for your left overs.

Sabores Catering went above and beyond for my event! They catered my baby shower & made my wildest dreams come true. I had a very specific vision on how I wanted my brunch grazing table to look and they listened to every detail. Every detail was beautiful- from the layout to the floral touches to the draped cloths... Not only was it beautiful, but most importantly, it was delicious. We received so many compliments on the delicious spread that they created. I could not recommend Sabores Catering enough. Thank you to the amazing and friendly staff that catered the event. I will definitely be using them for all my future events!!

Wow! The sabores chicken breasts were tender and the sauce was so good! We had over 100 guests, and there was not one that left disappointed with the food, even the usual food critics. Great customer service, quality food, reasonable pricing, and very responsive. Highly recommend. Thank you for helping us celebrate our son's 1st birthday!

What a amazing catering business!!!Kathy and her husband Alex and mother catered my moms 80 birthday last night party of 65 guests.They were professional caring and their food was delicious!!! Home made Portuguese food that all of our guests enjoyed and have been craving.We had Bacalhau de Natas, Sabores Chicken, Smoked Tri Tip, rice and garlic potatoes green salad bread and butter. Kathy is caring and listens to your specific needs for your event.We give them 5 star but they deserve higher stars Thank you Sabores Catering for making our moms birthday party such a special day with your delicious food.We highly recommend them.

We had this company catering our wedding reception this weekend (Loi/Garvin). Our menu was Sabores chicken. Pasta. Salad, breads and drinks... The food was so delicious. The chicken and pasta was so so good. Most of my guests like it. Their service were excellent and very professional. Thanks to Kathy, Kathy's husband and their Mother). They went out and beyond their way to help us cut the cake and service our guests. We would give them TEN stars instead. We would highly recommend this company to any one who need catering. We would use them back again if need or recommend to our friends or family. Special thanks to all.
