Round1 Bowling & Arcade - Concord

Actual score: 3.5, but yelp doesn't let you do half stars.My nephews come here all the time, so over the holidays I was excited to take them myself, along with my partner. It was a lot of fun! I won a really cute stegosaurus that was a good size and so soft and squishy. Then I tried to win something else with a basic claw machine and failed completely, even though I used a ton of credits. I came close about 3x, but no dice. My partner won a very nice anime figure. One nephew used their tickets to buy a HUGE plush, like about 3/4 their size. The other is ridiculously good at claw machines and won two really cute plushes.So yes we had a lot of fun, but a couple things:1) this place is pretty expensive. You can spend a lot of money in the blink of an eye.2) it was hard finding someone on the floor when I won, but the item was stuck. I didn't want to leave my machine, but I didn't see anyone for like 15 minutes, and then finally gave up and left my machine to get help at the counter. On the pro side, I *really* appreciate that these are genuine, official prizes, not stupid bootlegs. After having a lot of fun, I was looking around my area, but all the arcades look janky with iffy prizes.

This place is absolutely terrible, the customer service is extremely lacking and some of their "policies" make zero sense. Place was also very dirty. Trash on floors and tables even though employees were walking around doing nothing. This was a poor 1st visit and set the tone for never wanting to return.Security has you completely empty your pockets and doesn't allow vapes in, even if you want to go in/out for smoke breaks.Trying to get an employee to assist us in paying for a bowling lane was like pulling teeth. We got stared down by one guy who didn't want to help anyone and then the guy that did help us was slower than molasses. There's no sense of urgency here as everyone seemed to hate their job. If you don't like it, don't work there.After we finally paid and got to our lane, we attempted to get a pitcher of beer. After 10 minutes of trying to get service, was told that 2 people needed to be present and ID'd...fine. went back with 2 people to the bar and took another 10 minutes for her to check ID's then start pouring the pitcher which she kept pouring half out as it filled with foam since she didn't know how to pour beer. 1 person of our duo walked away with the glasses back to the lane and then the bartender wouldn't give the remaining person the pitcher to carry since now they were alone, this is fucking BS. You already carded 2 people and gave 2 glasses. This took over 20 minutes of our hour bowl time. We only ended up being able to bowl 1.5 games. Will NEVER go back.

Shout out to Milton for being great. I wanted to play the Gitadora drums but someone had spilled soda all over the machine, not to mention they broke the drumsticks. I stepped onto the platform and slipped into the game because the soda was EVERYWHERE. Anyway, Milton cleaned it up and was super nice about it. Please clean up after yourselves people! If you can't, let an attendant know so no one can get hurt.

Went on a weekday around 4pm. They were out of pizza, out of ranch, and overall delivered terrible service. It was very slow with only a few lanes occupied. We chose the hour timed bowling option, then proceeded to order food and drinks. By the time we got our order we proceeded to our lane which said 41 minutes of play were left. Not once when we paid for the lane did they tell us our time started right then!! We complained to management and for a slow day, it was disappointing they did not restart our time. Never returning here again.

I went there with a group to rent out the karaoke room, but unfortunately, the karaoke room that we rented, Room 3, did not operate properly and we would have to either end up getting a refund which I did appreciate the refunding of the money. It was a Friday night and it's $58/hr. for the room for up to 15 people. We ordered food. The food was OK. I mean it's not five star but suitable for teenagers which is Who was consuming the food. I didn't know that the bar didn't only had wine and beer, but two glasses of wine and I was OK with that. I spent $50 on the video game card which my daughter use very quickly so overall it would've been OK evening if the main reason we were there which was karaoke would have to be accomplished.

I really like it here! Roomy, clean, decent service, and lots of pick a toy machines, arcades, bowling alley, and Karaoke Rooms... what more can one asks for when comes to entertainment!?! ;) Oh, and they have a decent food menu and ice cream for only 99-cents!! Surely no one in town can beat their ice cream deal!

We came here to bowl. We bowl with my brothers once a week and they practice here. We moved our last get together here so I could check it out.First impression is not great walking in, it's an arcade first obviously. It's bright and blingy and my first thought was - NOPE. But, at the end, in the back are some pretty chill lanes. They have big couches that you can order food from- probably won't do that still kinda cool. The balls are new and nicely organized. A few things that were off putting for me but not huge- he inspected our shoes - all of ours. And they enter your names for you. Also we requested 2 lanes and were told we only needed 1 even though it was empty. Like I said not huge but annoying. We had a good time and will most likely come again when we can't get a lane at the actual bowling alley.

Went for bowling. It's expensive. Food service is slow. Still, they turned off our lane during our last frame without warning because we ran out of time. Employee was weirdly mean about it. Almost all other lanes were open at the time.Also, and I can't believe this is real, during one of our games, they offered us a prize if our next bowler rolled a strike. He did. The prize was a plastic bag.

Terrible service at the food stand. You will wait forever for someone to even acknowledge you, let alone get your order right or in an acceptable timeframe. Vending machines are broken most of the time... And then they are always doing maintenance on thr bowling lands so prepare to wait for 2 hours for a lane! Really sucks!
