My son's 8th-grade class did a three-night Rock-n-Water adventure for their graduation. What an INCREDIBLE way to wrap up middle school! With the historical rain and snow that we endured this winter, all of us parents & teachers were a little nervous about running the river with our kids at such crazy high flows! The Rock-n-Water staff were super on it, closely monitoring the flow and figured out the best and safest time for us to hit the water. The river was roaring but our guides navigated the swift waters expertly! They engaged with the kids, making them laugh while putting their minds at ease, and made our rafting experience very safe and very fun! Day two was spent on rock walls, learning to rock climb while facing fears and trusting in each other. The area we were climbing in was UNREAL! It felt more like Yosemite than Coloma! Our final day was spent exploring a beautiful river canyon with countless waterfalls and jump rocks. What a memorable three days... The Rock-n-Water staff is amazing! Our leaders, Hannah & Aiden were super fun, outgoing, and professional. They made sure our kids had a ton of fun and consistently reminded our group of their incredible surroundings and the loving God who created this natural playground! Oh, and the food was insanely good!

Absolutely loved every second we were there. We spent a week camping, hiking, rock climbing and white water rafting. Our 20 students loved every second and for many this was the first time of outdoor experience they had every had. The food was wonderful, the staff was kind, and the culture they live out is inspiring. Definetly going back again!

Such an awesome way to experience God s magnificent creation. Aaron has a heart and passion for camp ministries and it certainly shows. He and his staff are very knowledgeable. If you ve never gone white water rafting, you can rest assured that your safety is a big priority to them. They even beautifully incorporate faith into rafting and other activities. You may come for the rafting, but you will leave spiritually uplifted. God is doing great things though this ministry and you should come and experience it.

First experience was my high school daughter's senior trip - she valued the time with her classmates and the challenging adventures of canyoneering, rafting and sleeping under the stars. (Haha). Second experience - Fabulous adventure with my son's 4th grade class. Staff were all so fun and organized and made the overnight gold rush trip a blast. We greatly enjoyed Rock-N-Water from start to finish.

We recently visited with my daughters 4th grade class and had a great time. The staff is super friendly, fun and stays in character. The food was delicious! Camping area is well kept and with trees which was really nice fir some added shelter. It rained, hailed, and was really cold, our first day and then was perfect weather the second day. The hosts kept us incredibly busy with all kind of fun and educational projects/tasks. We really enjoyed our time there!

My husband and I decided to take the kids camping for the first time. Our kids are 17, 13, and 11 years old, remarkably, our RockNWater adventures were perfect. Our lead, Avery, was splendid in every way from morning to night, providing us with constant guidance and service. It was undeniable he is an expert at river rafting. While we rafted, we also learned the history of the American River, which was very enriching. In El Dorado National Forest, he knew all the best spots for our Canyoneering adventure. My kids had the most fantastic time camping and adventuring. Our family bond is tighter with these amazing memories we made during our stay at RockNWater. Avery, thank you so much for your thoughtfulness, guidance, and encouragement to become closer to God through adventures and His creation. -The Marin Family.

The workers were so kind, and the activities I did, such as rafting and canyoniering, were great and were such a fun experience. The veiw was beautiful and amazing. I had Hannah as a guide, and she was so fun and kind and definitely deserves a raise! She just made the whole experience so much more fun, especially with her enthusiasm for everything. I could tell all of the workers knew what they were doing, so I felt very safe and like I was in good hands!

We just did the 4th grade overnight trip with our school and the experience was awesome! Charlotte and William were our guides, they were extremely patient and provided information to my son and his class in a fun way that allowed the group to have fun ask questions and explore while also staying on schedule and getting the activities done. This was my son's first overnight experience with a group or class and it could not have been more memorable or special. Thank you Charlotte and William and everyone at camp who works so hard.

The campgrounds are immaculate. Great kitchen set up, bathrooms, clean spaces all around to set up and enjoy the beautiful location. We went there with our 4th grade class from a small catholic school. Many of the parents were disappointed in the constant preaching. It felt that many messages were repeated just to instill fear in the children. Everything was about evil, sin and death as a consequence. Definitely not what we teach our children so not 100% sure why our school selected this experience.... that's another story. The crew works very hard. They definitely can sense when an adult is questioning and they do not take kindly to this. We heard phrases like 'do you wonder why your parents are questioning this?' to 'Come on adults, if you just try this you won't melt or die of exhaustion'. The experience is not cheap to go with the school. I definitely would ask for some free time for the kids, campfire with s'mores at night and not 2 hours of straight sermon and at least an hour to set up upon arrival. Instead we waited for 1 while hearing about scriptures, then a tour and not until after a hands-on activity where we allowed to set up our tents.
